Saudi university student

The Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Specialist leads the design and delivery of programs that support employee health, safety, and wellbeing across the MENA region. This role ensures compliance with local legislation, aligns with SAP’s global standards, and integrates wellbeing into the overall employee experience. Combining strategy, compliance, and people-focused programming, the role helps shape a resilient, safe, and high-performing workplace. This role sits in the Head of People & Culture office for MENA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver health, safety, and wellness programs tailored to evolving workforce needs (e.g., hybrid work, psychological safety, burnout).
- Align programs with SAP’s People Strategy and Global Health & Safety Management Standard.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with all relevant MENA legislation, with support from legal team.
- Track regulatory changes and where relevant update policies, processes, and training (or support these updates across other functions).
Governance & Committees
- Lead MENA Health & Safety Councils; run quarterly meetings and drive follow-up actions.
- Support joint health and safety committees where required by law.

For specific types of post, if you do not have the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, it might be possible (though not guaranteed) to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa. However, this is only possible if the employer is a licenced Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or 'going rate'.
