General Responsibilities

Strategic Responsibilities

–Develop venue management policies and scheduling procedures aligned with academic and artistic priorities.

–Establish standards for technical readiness, safety compliance, and interdisciplinary support across performance spaces.

–Partner with faculty, production teams, and service providers to deliver high-quality events and experiences.

–Contribute to strategic planning for venue upgrades, installations, and long-term technical needs.

Operational Responsibilities

–Maintain wired and wireless networks, servers, and cloud services across academic and performance spaces.

–Supervise integration of AV systems, studios, and performance venues into the digital infrastructure.

–Manage software deployment, licensing, updates, and troubleshooting across disciplines (film, music, theater, visual arts, architecture & design).Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of system components, resolving outages and performance issues.

–Supervise technicians and external vendors, assigning tasks, setting workflows, and monitoring performance.

–Coordinate with FM and IT teams to align campus infrastructure with digital system requirements.

–Maintain compliance with institutional policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards.

–Document network architecture, system configurations, and operational procedures for audit and continuity.

Industry Experience

–10+ years in network/system administration, preferably in academic or creative institutions.

–Proven expertise in IT and network infrastructure, AV systems, and specialized studio technologies.

–Strong knowledge of data protection, security frameworks, and compliance.

Experience supporting interdisciplinary environments involving arts and performance technologies.

Management capabilities

–Skilled in managing technical teams, contractors, and vendors.

–Strong leadership with ability to define workflows, assign tasks, and ensure timely resolution.

–Experienced in vendor performance monitoring and SLA compliance.

–Project management abilities in system deployment, upgrades, and integration.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled
Surveillance Systems & Network Engineer
to design, implement, and manage advanced
CCTV surveillance systems, Security Access Control Systems (SACS), and network infrastructure
. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
networking and cybersecurity
, with proven experience in surveillance and access control technologies.

This role requires a detail-oriented professional who ensures system reliability, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement by staying updated with the latest industry advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement surveillance and access control solutions, including device selection and placement.
• Plan and configure network infrastructure to support surveillance and SACS (switches, routers, VLANs, cabling).
• Deploy and manage Video Management Systems (VMS) and SACS platforms.
• Design and implement storage solutions (NAS/NVR) with backup and redundancy.
• Integrate surveillance and access control with other security systems (alarms, analytics, etc.).
• Implement video analytics (motion detection, facial recognition, license plate recognition) and monitor access logs.
• Ensure system security through encryption, updates, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Conduct routine system maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for surveillance and data privacy.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and security staff.
• Manage project budgets, including procurement and maintenance costs.

Qualifications:

• Saudi nationality is required.
• Bachelor's degree in
  Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering

• Minimum of
  4 years of hands-on experience
  in surveillance systems, access control, or network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching).
• Proven experience with CCTV, VMS, and SACS solutions.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and data protection practices.
• Experience in system integration and project management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
