Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • Must have a minimum of 20 years' experience with strong international experience.
  • Membership in RICS, CIOB or equivalent is desirable.
  • Strong background and understanding of FIDIC forms of Contract, particularly design & build.
  • Knowledgeable in all contractual & legal matters relevant to the industry, including claim management.
  • Great leadership and organizational skills.
  • Arab-speaking national is desirable, with excellent command of written and spoken English.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team.

  • Job Purpose

    Responsible for managing the commercial aspects of contracts throughout their lifecycle to optimize value delivery and mitigate risk. The role includes drafting and reviewing contractual terms, conducting cost and risk analyses, coordinating with internal teams to align with project and business objectives, and supporting the execution and closeout of contracts in compliance with governance standards.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Draft and review contracts to ensure terms align with project objectives, legal requirements, and risk parameters.
  • Conduct cost impact analyses and recommend value-driven alternatives during negotiations and change orders.
  • Identify and evaluate contractual risks, applying mitigation strategies to achieve balanced risk allocation.
  • Monitor and validate obligations across all stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Support contract closeout by finalizing documentation and resolving pending financial or legal matters.
  • Maintain contract management systems and dashboards to support reporting, audits, and performance monitoring.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Law, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with FIDIC or NEC contract standards.
