Position Title

Senior Management Accountant

Location

KSA (Yanbu)

Position Overview

This position will report to the Finance Controller for the KSA region, handling Costing, Budgeting & Forecasting at Yanbu Plant. The Senior Management Accountant will be accountable to provide accurate accounting, cost analysis, variance analysis and financial support for the operational team assigned. He/she will produce and drive action on monthly reporting and analysis covering manufacturing cost statements, operating variances, metrics, KPI's, including making corrective action recommendations to ensure targeted performance is achieved. The Senior Management Accountant will provide analytical support for Capital investment decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

**This role is accountable for**:
Accurate accounting for costs through transaction recording
- Accurate and timely recording of accruals, reallocations journal entries and reconciliations
- Recording & reconciliation of process chemicals, other variable costs
- Accurate accounting for fixed costs including maintenance, supplies, rentals, etc.
- Analyzes and reviews of expenditures, confirm proper allocation of expenses to the various departments, and reports to the various departments as necessary
- Accurate and timely month end close and reporting
- Maintain Effective Key Controls.

Inventory
- Cycle count accuracy and review cycle count results and accuracy according to policy.
- Recording of MRO obsolete stock provisions
- Recording & reconciliation of process chemicals, calculation.

Unit Operations Financial Expert - Primary support on cost analysis, variance analysis, and financial support for Unit Operations
- Primary finance business partner to operations, procurement and T&I teams.
- Preparation of cost analysis reports for the site
- Monthly PVE analysis for site
- Cost analysis by cost center, operational unit
- Responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and business plans
- Support the Global FP&A team
- Preparation of Monthly Business Review Packages
- Continuous improvement - Seek regular feedback from business partners for improvements.

Measure and analyze business drivers and KPI's against targets
- Develop and review forecast, agree on action plans
- Track actions to close gaps
- Update estimates/forecasts with action results for exceptions.

Partner with the Business Analyst to ensure project costs and benefits are aligned
- Ensure understanding, justification, and alignment on project prioritization
- Ensure project costs and benefits are reflected in forecasts and budgets
- Supply data, review project analysis for cost and capital projects.

Process Improvement
- Seeks ways to improve upon accounting processes and procedures to promote efficiency and cost savings
- Implement continuous improvement requests from business partners either local or central.

Inventory Valuation under US GAAP & IFRS including LCM's (Lower of Cost or Market) (Net Realizable Value)
- Define product cost master data and overhead (Bill of Materials and Standards)
- Create product cost estimates (actuals, budget, and forecast)
- Estimate activity rates
- Analyze costing results

Qualifications & Experience

  • Certifications: CPA or equivalent (preferred).
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IFRS or US GAAP, including principles of management and financial accounting.
  • Key Skills: Strong analytical abilities, financial modeling, and proficiency in Excel (advanced skills). Knowledge of SAP and OneStream is desirable.
  • Leadership: Experience leading and developing teams, and fostering strong business partner relationships.
  • Compliance: Solid understanding of SOX compliance and internal controls.

The function of the Revenue Cycle Management Manager is to manage the organisation's Revenue Cycle Department and to ensure that all business-related processes are smoothly implemented in line with the organisation's mission, vision, and values.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies and participates in short- and long-term goal development.
  • Ensures that all business centre/RCD activities are of the highest quality and performed efficiently.
  • Maintains liaison with professional medical staff and other personnel in administrating policies and procedures regarding patient flow and utilisation of space, time, supplies, and equipment.
  • Provides direction and guidance to Revenue Cycle Department staff.
  • Directs and coordinates all scheduling, admission, discharge, and corresponding financial services and activities of the patient within the organisation.
  • Responsible for all Revenue Cycle Department activities related to verification, approval, and extension of insurance eligibility for outpatient and inpatient related services.
  • Responsible for processing incoming patient referrals from the Ministry of Health (MOH), KF Medical City, and other affiliated governmental and private healthcare organisations.
  • Ensures that the Revenue Cycle Department staff collect accurate information from patients and organisations and document correctly into the computer system.
  • Supervises and assists the Revenue Cycle Department staff concerning issues such as conditions of admissions, consent forms, patient rights and responsibilities, confidentiality and privacy of patient information, and other relevant hospital policies and procedures.
  • Maintains interface with physicians, patients, and administrative staff to provide information and to resolve problems relating to outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Collects and analyses data for the preparation of composite reports and special projects (i.e., new and current service costing, bed management improvement projects, etc.).
  • Assists in updating the Revenue Cycle Department policy and procedures as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating the database related to insurance policy (new and old subscribers).
  • Ensures staff treats patients and their families with respect and dignity.
  • Maintains and/or improves customer service policy to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Interacts professionally with patient/family and provides explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary.
  • Ensures department documentation meets current standards and policies.
  • Ensures availability of all department resources.
  • Directly responsible for all personnel actions including, but not limited to hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, vacation schedules, and maintaining payroll records and time reports.
  • Enforces regulatory and compliance requirements (MOH, accreditation, etc.). Accountable for understanding, enforcing, and following all internal controls, particularly as they relate to cash management policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the safety of patient valuables.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and concisely.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare safety, operations, and programs.
  • Skilled in working with spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations.
