- Data Security & Compliance:
- Implement security best practices for Elasticsearch, including access control, encryption, and authentication (X-Pack, TLS)
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations for data privacy and implement effective backup/recovery solutions
- Collaboration & Documentation:
- Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth integration of Elasticsearch with other data platforms
- Document processes, configurations, and operational guidelines for managing the Elastic Cloud infrastructure and associated data pipelines
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Elastic Cloud, Elasticsearch administration, and Kibana
- Strong expertise in building Kibana dashboards, visualizations, and generating reports
- Experience with Elasticsearch indexing, cluster management, and performance optimization
- Proficiency in building and managing data pipelines, particularly with BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL databases
- Strong SQL query writing skills and experience working with relational databases
- Hands-on experience with GoLang development (a plus)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for Elastic Cloud
- Knowledge of security features for Elasticsearch (TLS, X-Pack) and data protection best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on performance tuning and optimization
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Logstash, Beats, or similar
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for hosting and scaling Elasticsearch clusters
- Familiarity with ETL processes and working with large datasets in BigQuery and MongoDB
- Experience with API development and integrations using GoLang or similar technologies
