We are seeking a seasoned Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - VDI with deep expertise in VMware / Omnissa Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing, supporting, and optimizing virtualized desktop infrastructure including VMware Horizon, App Volumes, Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM), and related components. This role involves overseeing production and DR environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of the VDI platform, and contributing to strategic initiatives and project implementations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment, configuration, upgrade, and management of VMware / Omnissa VDI environments including Horizon, App Volumes, DEM, Thin/Zero Clients, and Unified Access Gateway (UAG)
  • Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments including vCenter, ESXi, vROPS, and software-defined storage solutions
  • Plan and implement networking and storage configurations relevant to vSphere and Horizon environments
  • Support platform lifecycle tasks including vCenter/ESXi upgrades, Horizon upgrades, and hardware/firmware management on Dell MX7000
  • Monitor VDI performance and availability using vROPS and perform regular health checks
  • Manage disaster recovery strategies and execution for production and non-production environments
  • Provide operational support, incident response, and troubleshooting across the VDI infrastructure

AWS ProServe is seeking a ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA), focusing on Financial Services Industries (FSI). This role will be focused on helping FSI customers build or migrate their business workloads on AWS.
From ideation through to build and then to operate, AWS ProServe is committed to helping customers accelerate their time-to-value on AWS. This Senior PCA will be based in Riyadh but have a regional wide remit in the Professional Services team. Their focus will be on providing pre-sales support with customer executives followed by hands-on-delivery for FSI workloads.
Successful candidates will have executive level experience in leading, defining, designing and deploying enterprise level strategic solutions in the FSI domain. Domain expertise should include deep, practical and hands-on understanding of Banking solutions.
The ideal candidate will also have experience with large scale cloud migration, automation, and GenAI.
Key job responsibilities
- Deliver value - Lead and support local ProServe delivery teams as a Subject Matter Expert to deliver transformational ProServe technical engagements for AWS customers in the FSI domain
- Pre-sales support - Create and deliver presentations to customers that inspire the art of the possible in FSI using cloud computing. Understand customer requirements and collaborate with AWS sales leaders to scope, present, and win new FSI customer engagements
- Industry Leadership - Identify common customer interest and innovate new technology offerings. Work with the global FSI Industry team to stay-ahead of the leading-edge platform services and ProServe technology offerings.
- Industry Expertise Transfer - Upskill AWS ProServe builders on proven ProServe FSI offerings.
This is an executive level customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
- 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
- Solid experience with large scale migration for FSI customers and consulting experience working with FSI solutions or working as a subject matter expert (SME) in a financial services organization.
- Ability to create compelling customer proposals and executive-level presentation skills and demonstrable hands-on experience with FSI domain workloads e.g., Core Banking.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and hands on Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s cloud and on-prem infrastructure, with a primary focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). In this role, you will work closely with software developers and your own team to manage and streamline software development and deployment processes. You will own and drive our cloud strategy and security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Architecture : Develop long-term cloud plans (IaaS, PaaS, containers, networking, security). Implement OCI & GCP designs aligned with business objectives.
  • Platform Engineering : Build and manage OCI Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) clusters and VM-based workloads. Automate provisioning with Terraform/OCI Resource Manager and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud Management : Optimize Oracle Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Docker environments.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Utilize Docker for containerization and oversee Kubernetes clusters for application deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
  • Operations & Reliability : Establish SLOs, monitoring, incident response with OCI and open-source tools (Prometheus/Grafana, Loki). Manage capacity, costs, and disaster recovery.
  • Security: Manage patching, vulnerabilities, CIS benchmarks, and audit readiness. Implement secure deployment practices with IAM, network security, and encryption.
  • Collaboration : Lead a team of 5 cloud, DevOps, and app specialists. Integrate automated deployment into development cycles for seamless software releases.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues. Conduct root cause analysis.
  • Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud costs while ensuring performance.
  • Documentation: Maintain current infrastructure and CI/CD documentation.

Requirements:

Education ,Certifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or Information Technology.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or a similar role .

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Oracle and Google Cloud platforms.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes lifecycle, service mesh, and security hardening.

• Hands-on experience with OKE, OCI Compute, networking, IAM, and Cloud Guard.

• Skilled in network segmentation, zero-trust IAM, encryption, and compliance.

• Advanced Terraform user; experienced with Python/Bash and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Able to design workloads using GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, and VPC networking
