Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Cloud & Telephony Integration Engineer
to design, implement, and manage integrations between
cloud communication systems (SIP trunking, VoIP)
and
on-premises PBX systems
. The candidate will play a critical role in connecting corporate telephony platforms with AI-powered virtual agents and enterprise systems, ensuring seamless call routing, automation, and reliable voice services across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and manage
SIP trunking
with cloud telephony providers. - Integrate
cloud communication systems with on-premises PBX (IP-PBX / legacy PBX)
and enterprise systems. - Implement
call routing, extensions, and IVR systems
to enable AI-powered agent responses. - Design and maintain
secure and scalable VoIP infrastructures
across different networks. - Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues between cloud and on-premises telephony systems.
- Collaborate with AI development teams to enable
AI-driven call handling and automated responses
. - Monitor system performance, ensure
high availability, QoS, and minimal downtime
. - Document system designs, configurations, and integration processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field. - Strong knowledge of
VoIP technologies, SIP protocols, and SIP trunking
. - Experience integrating
cloud-based telephony systems
(e.g., Twilio, Zoom Phone, RingCentral, Amazon Connect, Genesys Cloud) with
on-premises PBX
. - Familiarity with
call center platforms, IVR, and ACD systems
. - Knowledge of
network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, SBCs, Firewalls)
. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).

- Avaya Certified Specialist

Experience

Required Skills:
- The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in roles such as SE, Consulting SE, or Solution Architect in the Cloud, Networking, Infrastructure, and/or Cybersecurity industries
- In depth knowledge and hands on experience with two or more of the following public/private cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP, NSX
- Proficiency in modern software architecture using CI/CD, DevOps tools (Ansible / CloudFormation / Azure ARM), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Scalability, and API-first strategy
- Working knowledge of Python, Java and/or other programming languages
- Public Cloud certifications are highly recommended (Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Proven expertise in Networking and Security; industry certifications form leading vendors are highly desirable
- Prior experience in designing and building applications using Container and serverless technologies is preferred
- Excellent presentation and demo skills
- Prior experience working at a cybersecurity and networking consulting company is highly desirable
- Superior documentation and technical writing capabilities
