Job Title:
BAppDev - GCP Cloud Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable microservices-based applications on the Google Cloud Platform. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable microservices-based applications and services on the Google Cloud Platform.
• Utilize your strong foundational development skills to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, etc.).
• Leverage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL/Spanner, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Dataflow/Dataproc in a microservices architecture.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes for microservices on GCP.
• Ensure the performance, security, and availability of cloud-based microservices and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the application and infrastructure stack in the GCP environment, specifically within a distributed microservices landscape.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, on the design and implementation of microservices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and provide technical guidance on microservices design patterns and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services and best practices, particularly those relevant to microservices development and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards within a microservices ecosystem.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on microservices principles and implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8-9 years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Developer on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) developing and deploying applications, with a focus on microservices.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy microservices using various GCP services.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go), with experience building microservices in that language.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration on GCP (e.g., GKE) for microservices.
• Familiarity with API design and management for microservices.
• Experience with service discovery, inter-service communication, and message queues relevant to microservices architectures (e.g., Pub/Sub, gRPC).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager for managing microservices infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Cloud Build) for microservices deployments.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices, particularly in the context of distributed microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in troubleshooting distributed systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate microservices design concepts.
• Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with serverless computing (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Run) in a microservices context.
• Experience with data engineering tools and services on GCP (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc) within a microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools on GCP (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging) for observability in microservices.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

About The Role
New Era Technology is seeking an experienced
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Senior Developer
to design, implement, and lead enterprise-grade analytics and business intelligence solutions for one of our prestigious clients in KSA. The role focuses on enabling organizations to leverage data for strategic insights, reporting, planning, and predictive analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud and related technologies.

The selected candidate will work onsite at the client location, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, providing technical leadership, and ensuring robust analytics solutions that align with enterprise goals and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Build: Design and deliver enterprise analytics solutions leveraging SAC, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP HANA.
• Design & Blueprinting: Lead workshops with stakeholders to define reporting strategies, KPIs, data models, dashboards, visualizations, and planning solutions.
• Data Integration: Configure and optimize connections (Live/Import) with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and other SAP/non-SAP systems for both real-time and batch analytics.
• Modeling: Develop semantic layers in SAC, BW, and HANA views, enabling advanced planning, predictive analytics, and geo-visualizations.
• Dashboard Development: Build SAC objects and dashboards (dimensions, measures, templates, digital boardroom, and analytical applications using JavaScript APIs).
• Governance & Security: Implement data security, scheduling, data locking, and validation rules for reporting and planning requirements.
• SME Role: Act as a subject matter expert in SAC functionality, leading client workshops and ensuring solution integrity.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee documentation, testing, and compliance with SAC methodologies and best practices.

Core Technical Skills

• SAP Analytics Cloud (modeling, planning, predictive analytics, Smart Predict, analytical applications).
• Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, Datasphere, SAP HANA modeling, and CDS views.
• Strong skills in SAP BOBJ, ABAP CDS, and end-to-end analytics architecture.
• Experience with scripting (JavaScript, R) for advanced SAC applications.
• Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing, multi-dimensional modeling, and integrations with SAP & non-SAP systems.
• Hands-on experience in predictive analytics and advanced planning scenarios.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAC implementation experience.
• 12+ years of overall SAP Analytics experience with expertise across BW, HANA, Datasphere, and enterprise reporting.
• Strong client-facing and collaboration skills, with proven experience leading workshops and delivering end-to-end SAC solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

Preferred Certifications:

• SAP Certified in Analytics Cloud or related SAP Analytics solutions.
• Additional credentials in SAP BW/4HANA, HANA, or Datasphere will be an advantage.
