Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and certified GCP Senior Cloud Developer to design, develop, and deploy highly scalable, secure, and compliant enterprise applications on the Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern software development, deep expertise in GCP cloud-native services, and proven experience working within a highly regulatory and compliance-driven enterprise environment (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Government). This role requires a commitment to cloud best practices, automated deployments, and security at every stage of the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of total experience in professional software development, with a significant focus on back-end development using Python and/or Java.
  • 3+ years of hands-on, dedicated experience as a GCP Developer, having successfully deployed multiple enterprise-grade applications to production.
  • Demonstrated expertise in container technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE or Cloud Run).
  • Proven track record of developing applications in a highly regulated, high-compliance enterprise environment, with deep understanding of security and compliance controls in the cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable microservices-based applications and services on the Google Cloud Platform.

About The Role
New Era Technology is seeking an experienced
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Senior Developer
to design, implement, and lead enterprise-grade analytics and business intelligence solutions for one of our prestigious clients in KSA. The role focuses on enabling organizations to leverage data for strategic insights, reporting, planning, and predictive analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud and related technologies.

The selected candidate will work onsite at the client location, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders, providing technical leadership, and ensuring robust analytics solutions that align with enterprise goals and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect & Build: Design and deliver enterprise analytics solutions leveraging SAC, BW/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP HANA.
  • Design & Blueprinting: Lead workshops with stakeholders to define reporting strategies, KPIs, data models, dashboards, visualizations, and planning solutions.
  • Data Integration: Configure and optimize connections (Live/Import) with S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and other SAP/non-SAP systems for both real-time and batch analytics.
  • Modeling: Develop semantic layers in SAC, BW, and HANA views, enabling advanced planning, predictive analytics, and geo-visualizations.
  • Dashboard Development: Build SAC objects and dashboards (dimensions, measures, templates, digital boardroom, and analytical applications using JavaScript APIs).
  • Governance & Security: Implement data security, scheduling, data locking, and validation rules for reporting and planning requirements.
  • SME Role: Act as a subject matter expert in SAC functionality, leading client workshops and ensuring solution integrity.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee documentation, testing, and compliance with SAC methodologies and best practices.

Core Technical Skills

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (modeling, planning, predictive analytics, Smart Predict, analytical applications).
  • Expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, Datasphere, SAP HANA modeling, and CDS views.
  • Strong skills in SAP BOBJ, ABAP CDS, and end-to-end analytics architecture.
  • Experience with scripting (JavaScript, R) for advanced SAC applications.
