To help out in directing and overseeing all day-to-day IT Infrastructure & Cloud Computing operations within EF, ensuring the availability, stability, and security of the technology operations while adhering to best practices as defined by EF's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Help in design and implement IT infrastructure and mitigate any potential risks arising from the introduction of new functionality or technology.
- Maintain and troubleshoot EF’s IT infrastructure, including networks, systems, databases, data centers and digital circuits, to ensure their stability, integrity, and efficient functionality.
- Oversee and manage tests and validation of IT infrastructure components to ensure performance is up to expected standards and conducting periodic reviews to maximize performance and productivity.
- Evaluate EF’s IT infrastructure performance and maintain active communication channels with concerned functions to identify and plan future capacity requirements.
- Handle end-user issues and complaints by providing tier 2 support team related to the hardware infrastructure, when necessary, while adhering to agreed-upon service level agreements (SLAs).
- Administer and maintain systems, databases, networks, and applications to ensure adequate capability and proper operation.
- Monitor and track tickets volume and performance metrics to ensure meeting expectations and taking corrective actions if needed.
- Oversee systems security and protection against any threats and unauthorized access, ensure updating security programs and patches to mitigate potential security risks.
- Develop and implement effective data protection plans and perform regular backups and system checks to prevent data loss and maintain high system security.
- Plan and oversee cybersecurity assessments to identify potential weaknesses and vulnerabilities across EF based on cybersecurity department feedback & suggestions.
- Manage, guide, and assist direct reports to perform their required responsibilities successfully.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders (relevant to the scope of work) such as government agencies and consultants to serve the interest of EF.
- Providing assistance through the Fund and peer support when needed to perform their duties.
- Approval of reports and presentations related to IT Infrastructure & Cloud Computing operations activities and accomplishments related to reporting and decision making.
- Performing other activities, when necessary, based on what the Fund’s interest requires and what the Information Technology Infrastructure & Cloud Computing and Digital Transformation Department approves.
