Role Overview:

UltraSense Systems is looking for an Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer. Main responsibilities include development the circuit blocks for a touch and force sensing solutions across multiple applications from mobile to automotive to IoT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system level, sub-system level, and block level IC design activities including circuit architecture exploration, circuit design, schematic capture, circuit and sub-system simulation, and layout direction
• Modeling at the block and sub-system level, provide support for integration into the IC top level.
• Create initial lab bring-up plans, lead initial design evaluation and debug, track and drive IC bug resolution.
• Collaborate with validation teams, product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful IC Qualification and release to production

Qualifications:

• MS or PhD background on EE, circuit design major.
• Expertise in Mixed-Signal Integration and verification
• Experience with Analog blocks design such as baseband amplifier, filter, oscillator, PLL, band-gap reference, etc…
• Experience with guiding the layout engineer to perform high-quality layout.
• Experience with post-silicon testing and validation.
• Experience with AMS/System-Verilog modeling for mixed-signal verification.
• Experience with Cadence EDA tools.
• Experience in the use of SPICE or Spectre simulation.
• Experience to use diverse laboratory tools for silicon evaluation.

Job Context
As local support for a wider Contract and Engineering team, the role will entail closely interacting with other design, contract and technical engineers.

You will be creating contract drawings and engineering BOMs for both internal and external customers in KSA and overseas. This may involve developing and trialing new features for our switchgear products as well as the preparation of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
