Job Purpose

As the Production Lead , you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a production team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while meet production goals. Collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement are key aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a production team, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced processes and team performance.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure production schedules are met and deliver high-quality products on time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support audits and regulatory inspections, ensuring readiness and compliance.

Team Structure & Work Environment

• Initially, 3 direct reports will be under this position, with future growth to 7–8 direct reports.
• Reporting team includes production operators and packaging staff.
• The role involves shift work, requiring adaptability and flexibility to manage operations effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmacy, or Science, Engineering).
• S hould ideally have a pharmaceutical background. Engineering candidates with prior experience in pharmaceutical companies may also be considered
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industries.
• Hands-on experience managing production lines, zones, and areas to achieve operational excellence.
• Proven track record of optimizing production processes, resolving bottlenecks, and driving maximum efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
• Written and spoken English; working knowledge of Arabic is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing, particularly in packaging or production.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Previous experience managing or supervising a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Capacity Planning: Evaluate current and future production capacity to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and production schedules. Allocate resources effectively to meet operational targets.
• Production Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed production schedules that coordinate manufacturing activities across departments, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
• Material Planning: Monitor demand forecasts and production plans to ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials and components. Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to mitigate risks and delays.
• Inventory Control: Maintain optimal inventory levels by balancing cost efficiency with service level requirements. Implement inventory management strategies to reduce waste and improve turnover.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, reduce lead times, and improve overall production efficiency.
• Reporting Analysis: Generate and analyze reports related to production performance, inventory status, and material availability to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, production control, or supply chain operations.
• Fluent in English is mandatory

Overview:

The UH60 Production Control Lead is a key administrative position within the maintenance department, responsible for coordinating and facilitating the smooth execution of maintenance activities related to UH60 helicopters. This role involves maintaining accurate production records, maintenance scheduling tasks, and ensuring effective communication among various departments to optimize workflow

During the 2nd shift efficiently conducts and overseas all UH60 Production Control clerk tasks.

Responsibilities:

• 1. Maintenance Coordination:
• • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and planners to schedule and prioritize UH60 helicopter maintenance tasks.
• Monitor and track the progress of maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• 1. Documentation Management:
• • Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance orders, work orders, and related documentation.
• Generate and update maintenance reports for management and other stakeholders.
• 1. Communication:
• • Facilitate effective communication between maintenance teams, quality control, and logistics to resolve issues and ensure a seamless workflow.
• Provide timely updates on maintenance status and potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
• 1. Inventory Control:
• • Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels of maintenance materials and components.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in production control, maintenance control or a related field is beneficial.
• Previous experience in production control, maintenance scheduling or a similar administrative role, preferably in aerospace manufacturing or repair.
• Familiarity with UH60 helicopter maintenance or production processes is a plus.
• Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainers course or civilian equivalent training and experience. 5 years cumulative experience in aviation maintenance.
• Must be able to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements that include medical, drug testing, background checks, passport etc.
• 5 years' experience as an aircraft mechanic or maintenance technician.
• Proficient in using maintenance management software, or work order software and Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with OEM production processes and direct collaboration with Boeing or other widebody manufacturers would be advantageous.
