Black & Grey HR is partnering with a well-established retail group in Saudi Arabia for their supermarket division. Our client is looking for a Category Manager to develop and implement strategic plans for product categories, identify market opportunities, and drive business performance through effective category management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze industry and consumer trends to guide product strategies.

- Establish long-term partnerships with distributors and wholesalers.

- Source new suppliers aligned with the company's category strategy.

- Assist in setting annual budgets, sales targets, and profit margins.

- Implement business plans to achieve category performance targets.

- Administer pricing to meet margin objectives and monitor product performance.

- Develop long-term growth and exit strategies for products.

- Foster trust-based relationships with vendors to improve pricing and service quality.

- Ensure product availability in line with consumer demand.

- Optimize category visibility and positioning in the market.

- Track pricing and competition to remain market-relevant.

- Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand the product range.

- Take full responsibility for category budget and revenue targets.

Requirements

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Buyer or Category Manager in FMCG.

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- Strong organizational and analytical skills.

- Excellent financial acumen and decision-making ability.

- Effective communicator and negotiator.

- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Detail-oriented with excellent time management.

- Ability to manage complexity and drive results collaboratively.
