Job Summary/Objective

The Managed Services Engineer – M365 Security will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 and Azure-based security and compliance solutions. This role serves as a subject matter expert, ensuring that organizational data, identities, devices, and applications are well protected while guiding clients on strategic security initiatives and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

· Security Architecture & Controls

· Design, implement, and maintain M365/Azure security controls, to ensure protection of data, users, devices, and applications across the enterprise.

· Develop and align technical security architecture with business and compliance requirements to uphold confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

· Continuously monitor security dashboards, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender solutions to detect threats, respond to incidents, and maintain proactive defense posture.

· Remediate security alerts and vulnerabilities across the Microsoft 365 environment to reduce organizational risk and ensure compliance with internal policies.

· Advisory & Escalation

· Act as an escalation point for M365 and Azure-related security incidents to resolve critical issues and guide internal/external teams effectively.

· Advise stakeholders on Microsoft feature updates and security enhancements to improve security readiness and stay ahead of evolving threats.

· Participate in security projects, upgrades, and client onboarding to provide expert insights and ensure smooth, secure implementation.

· Review compliance center and DLP settings to align configurations with organizational security goals.

· Governance & Documentation

· Ensure environments follow documented security standards and procedures to promote operational consistency and compliance with regulations.

· Produce clear reports and recommendations from incident analysis and threat intelligence to support decision-making and policy refinement.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure/security roles with a focus on Microsoft cloud platforms.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO.
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Office 365, and Endpoint.
  • Microsoft Sentinel for threat hunting and incident response.
  • Intune (MAM/MDM) and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • DLP compliance policies using Compliance Center and Cloud App Security.

This Senior Professional role works as part of the HR Team to manage the provision of advice and support to line managers and employees on general HR questions/policy interpretation as appropriate and leveraging the support of HR Services team to embed cyclical HR processes and tools

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Work with other HR teams to maintain high levels of customer service and to resolve service issues together as they arise and reflect best practice in the delivery of HR advice and solutions

· Manage Employee consultations related to the Saudisation initiative, prepare and issue compromise agreements and handle cases involving EE (expatriate employee) who are no longer permitted to work in KSA

· Oversee EE sick leave cases (Sick out of KSA) ensuring relevant documentation, medical clearance and compliance with return to work procedures.

· Manage all sensitive ER (employee relations) matters related to EE staff residing on Sara Compound whilst ensuring compliance with Company policies.

· Support provided by the Senior HR professional helps optimise performance in respective business areas. This will require a consultative approach to understand and diagnose the issues before working with the line manager to develop a solution and influence a change which is tailored to the environment and employees involved.

· This role will also contribute to the development of HR policy and processes and the improvement of HR processes for their defined area of responsibility .

· The role may also complete HR reporting/data requirements for respective business areas and provide data and analysis of BU metrics as required.

· This HR role is typically delivered by individual contributors but who also have supervisory accountability for a small team of professionals .

· The Senior Professional – Business Support can be called upon to deliver HR tasks and activities commensurate with their necessary skill set.

RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION

· The role would typically require a degree in Business Administration/ Human Resources or related discipline.

· HR experience in a mid-size organization preferably within the aviation/defence industry.

· CIPD or SHRM qualification in Human Resource Management.

· Has a good understanding of concepts and procedures within own HR technical/HR subject area and a basic knowledge in other HR areas.

· Role typically requires an extensive amount of practical HR knowledge gained through experience.

· The requirement for a broader basic knowledge of other HR concepts and procedures implies the need to understand them in context, how they sit in the organisation as a whole and how they relate to their own HR area.

· The role requires a basic understanding of own HR area and how it interacts with others within the HR function.
