Summary

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Performs non-invasive cardiac investigations such as but not limited to ECG, Holter monitoring, stress testing,

pacemaker and ICD analysis, blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography procedures including

Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE), and Stress Echocardiography (SE).

  1. Performs urgent procedures on critically ill patients portably on the wards, in the OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, ICUs,

Emergency Room, and any other location as requested and as required.

  1. Assists physicians with procedures in the OR, Cardiac Cath Lab, or any other setting as required.

  2. Observes and monitors patients during procedures, notes signs of distress and/or medical emergencies,

takes remedial action, and notifies the nurse and/or physician as necessary.

  1. Produces meaningful diagnostic information, obtains measured and calculated data, and makes preliminary

reports for review by the reporting physician.

  1. Documents and logs all patient events and procedures.

  2. Ensures a safe environment and safe operation of equipment. Monitors equipment and reports any hazards

or needs for repair and maintenance to Senior Cardiovascular Technologist or Manager. Calibrates and

operates equipment as required.

  1. Cleans and disinfects clinical equipment, following appropriate Laboratory policies, Hospital policies or

manufacturer instructions.

  1. Ensures procedure rooms are clean, tidy, and well stocked with supplies, linen, and other necessary items.

  2. Participates in the on-call roster and assists with emergency resuscitation procedures.

  3. Understands sterile technique for Cardiac Cath Lab, OR, and isolation patients.

  4. Understands infection control policies and all Non-Invasive Cardiology Lab.

  5. Complies with the section policies, procedures and protocols. Follow the section quality improvement

program in accordance with CBAHI, JCI, SFDA and other accreditation agencies standards.

  1. Complies with Radiation safety rules and regulation of the hospital and in accordance with KACST and K.A.

CARE and other national or international regulation bodies.

  1. Applies and ensures compliance with ALARA principle role for all procedure involving radiation exposure.

Adhere to all Zahrawi Policies & Procedures as applicable.

Market Knowledge:

Conduct market research to identify new potential customers.

Analyze market trends to identify new products in the market and understanding their advantages and disadvantages.

Identify product improvements and new products to evaluate their position in the industry.

Plan and assist with new product releases and events.

Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.

Business Development:

Establish contact with new customers to inform them of our products and brands, understanding their need and customizing the offer.

Provide potential customers with support, information, and guidance by performing product demonstrations to them and gathering their feedback.

Follow up with the new customers after the demo session to negotiate contracts and packages.

Ensure all details of the contract are compliant with our rules & regulations.

Marketing:

  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department for any new materials that need to be done.

Maintain relationships with existing customers by providing them with support, information, and guidance.

Recommend new products to existing customers as per their need and providing them with support, information, and guidance to ensure a great relationship with them.

Provide existing customers with support, information, and guidance by performing product demonstrations to them and gathering their feedback.

Assist the customers in answering all product-related questions in a professional and timely manner.

Recommend new service improvements to further build on the relationship.

Advise helpful new product recommendations and suggestions to customers to increase revenue.

Negotiate contracts and packages with existing customers.

Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing Zahrawi standards.

Contribute to the team effort by achieving the annual target set by the management and assisting the team when needed.

Operating Theatre:

Attend surgeries along with the doctors and nurses and assisting them with any issues they might be facing with the equipment.

Data Track:

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and maintaining accurate records of all products sold.

Orders:

  • Place orders to the concerned purchase coordinator.

Invoicing:

Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure proper invoicing of the products and following up with them with regards to the collection/payment.

Delivery:

Follow up with the Procurement & Logistics team with regards to sending them the products and ensuring that it reaches them on time.

  • Coordinate with the warehouse for the timely deliveries.

Application:

Conduct training session to customers.

Assist the customers with the equipment that is being used.

Run validation tests with the customers to ensure that they fully understand how to use the equipment.

Solve any issues that they might be facing while using the equipment.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in peripheral intervention, Interventional Radiology and Vasculr Surgery is a a plus.
  • Job Specific Skills: Sound technical knowledge about the human anatomy, medical field - Good communication skills & English Language – Good presentation skills & negotiation skills- Good MS Office Skills
  • Additional Details: Candidate will be based in Riyadh or willing to relocate. Should have a valid KSA driving license and should be willing to travel as per business needs.

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) works in Dhahran Operating Room (OR) and provides a wide range of complex and direct quality and evidence.-based professional nursing care to patients guided by organizational and departmental policies and procedures. Work is performed on any shift, as required, in the OR of the Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) facilities. Working hours are assigned to meet operational needs and may include on.-call and scheduled overtime

  • Assist in managing workflow ensuring proper resource utilization and providing mentorship to junior nurses
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participates in the evaluation of patient outcomes
  • Achieve andor Maintain the mandated set of activities for level 3 which is a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12month cycle as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess plan implement evaluate and document patient care from admission through discharge specific to the patients age
  • Provide nursing care patientfamily education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients with respect for the patients privacy dignity personal preference and culture demonstrating acceptance caring and empathy utilizing appropriate resources when applicable
  • Precept new hires and trainees during the probation training period and participates in making recommendations regarding progress and training needs
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations by utilizing clinical skills critical thinking and evidencebased practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy patient safety and comfort while maintaining a safe clean and organized environment for the patient familyvisitors and staff
  • Represent unit or department on committees special interest groups and task forces as assigned by OR manager
  • Complete specific competencies as identified by the managerclinical nurse educator according to the scope of service of assigned area OR adhere to unit specific activities per below 2H OR 2H PACU Main OR
  • Work according to unit specific competencies as followingOperating Room
  • Ensure safe procedures according to international patient safety goals and JHAH policies and procedures
  • Acts as a scrub or circulating nurse according to the OR schedule
  • Sets up the operating room according to the type of operation and according to the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses AORN recommendations
  • Assists the surgeon during complex operative diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the scope of service
  • Ensures that all pre intra and postop documentation is completed in the relevant format and in a timely manner
  • Ensures familiarity with the specialized equipment used in the OR and can handle equipment malfunction during surgery
  • Evaluate supplies equipment for patient care and give input to the service team leader OR Manager
  • Observe and maintain strict aseptic practices2H PACU
  • Monitors patients in the PACU utilizing the American Society of Perianesthesia Nurses ASPAN and JHAH standards and policies
  • Ensures all postanesthesia documentation is completed promptly and in the relevant format
  • Administer medications intravenously or by patientcontrolled analgesia as per clinicians order and utilize JHAH standards and policies for clinicians orders
Minimum Education Required

3 years International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing

Professional Certifications Required

Current licensure as a professional registered nurse Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as applicable per scope of service of the assigned area Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as applicable per scope of service of the assigned area

Years of Experience

Minimum 5 years of Nursing Experience including 4 years working as an Operating Room Nurse.
