Your key duties

We're seeking a Senior CAD Technician (Digital Infrastructure) to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering digital infrastructure excellence across multidisciplinary projects. You'll support telecommunications, fiber optic networks, ICT ducting, and related dry-utilities design through precise and coordinated CAD and Civil 3D outputs. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our infrastructure delivery, shaping the built environment with technical excellence and collaborative innovation.

• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed CAD drawings and 3D models for telecom and ICT utility layouts using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Translate engineering sketches and design inputs into accurate technical drawings—plans, sections, profiles, and construction documentation.
• Develop utility corridor layouts and cross-sections that integrate seamlessly with water, sewer, power, road alignments, and other civil infrastructure.
• Identify and flag potential clashes or policy deviations, coordinating resolution with engineering and BIM teams.
• Ensure compliance with CAD standards, company protocols, and local authority requirements; maintain version control and structured project documentation.
• Collaborate with design engineers, BIM specialists, and utility coordinators to refine and optimize technical outputs and issue accurate IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings.
• Self-review and quality-check all deliverables for clarity, accuracy, and completeness before submission.

Your skills and experience

• A Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical discipline.
• Solid experience in dry-utilities infrastructure design—especially telecom, ICT, and fiber-optics networks.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including utility profiling capabilities.
• Strong working knowledge of digital infrastructure standards, best practices, and design coordination workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail, adept at managing multiple technical drawing deliverables across large-scale projects.
• Effective at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines; excellent organizational and communication skills.

The 3D Architectural CAD Technician (Senior) supports the spatial and technical development of large-scale immersive, cultural, and themed environments.

This role ensures creative concepts are accurately translated into buildable architectural and scenic documentation, working closely with Creative Direction, 3D Experience Design Director, Art Direction, and Scenic Design to deliver precise, fabrication-ready drawings that align with narrative, aesthetic, and operational intent.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed CAD drawings, plans, sections, and elevations for immersive and themed environments.
• Translate conceptual sketches, 3D models, and artistic layouts into accurate architectural documentation.
• Collaborate with Scenic, Industrial, and Lighting Designers to integrate structural, electrical, and AV considerations into the spatial design.
• Maintain drawing standards, layer structures, and version control across all project phases.
• Coordinate with fabrication and construction teams to ensure documentation aligns with build methods, materials, and site constraints.
• Review consultant and vendor drawings to ensure adherence to design intent

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related design/technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in architectural drafting or CAD documentation for immersive, exhibition, museum, or themed entertainment projects.
• Proven ability to deliver precise documentation in complex, multi-disciplinary creative environments.

Technical Competencies:

Overview – Role
The
CAD Designer/Drafter
will be responsible for performing professional-level CAD services such as drafting of drawings in AutoCAD and amending Revit models, assessing and augmenting drawing sets against basic building code requirements. In this role you will be primarily augmenting various types of schematics and architectural drawings overlaying fire safety related information such as fire resistance rating of walls, floors, doors, exit sign locations, occupancy load calculations, separation of exits and similar, under the guidance and supervision of lead consultants and designers. The ideal candidate would have strong technical skills to produce detailed drawings and layouts for fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers, and special hazard suppression systems. The ideal candidate will have experience using AutoCAD and Revit and an understanding of relevant fire protection codes and standards

This role will be based in Khobar, KSA and will be responsible for supporting projects across India and Overseas

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional-level CAD engineering services such as augmenting drawing sets in AutoCAD and furnishing Revit models with life safety (and security) design information under the direction of an experienced consultant
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fire suppression (firewater pump, firewater network, sprinkler system (wet, dry, pre-action), spray system, foam system, clean agent, kitchen hood system, etc.)
• Create layout drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built documentation
• Interpret design specifications and ensure drawings comply with NFPA standards and local codes
• Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to coordinate system layouts.
• Modify and update drawings based on redlines, markups, and field conditions
• Organize and maintain CAD drawing files and documentation
• Assist in creating material take-offs and equipment schedules based on system drawings
• Submit progress reports to Project Managers and Project Leaders for a range of projects with which CAD Drafting resources are required
• Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and technicians and will prepare multiple versions for review by both internal and external project stakeholders
• Effectively communicate with project team members, clients, and others
• Read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, drawings, or regulations under direction from the lead engineers and consultants for both life safety and security design
• Participate in internal design reviews and provide input to improve design accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure deadlines and quality standards are met on all assigned projects

Requirements And Qualifications

• Diploma from a reputable academic organization in an engineering field (or an appropriate design specific degree) with at least 10 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable academic organization or higher in an engineering field (or an appropriate design specific bachelor's degree) with at least 5 years of experience
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience using AutoCAD, Revit (specifically fire protection plugins) and BIM platforms
• Familiarity with NFPA codes, particularly NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 72, as well as national codes and standards such as the National Building Code, Fire Codes, and local standards like TAC, OISD, etc.
• A good level of understanding of fire protection systems, components, and their working philosophy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
• Be able to demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills to write reports, business correspondence, presentations, procedure manuals, and to respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and other stakeholders when prompted by the internal team
