We are looking for a
Business Unit Director
in the northern part of Saudi Arabia. The main responsibilities include developing and implementing strategic plans and company policies, maintaining an open dialogue with stakeholders, and driving organizational success. To be successful as a Business Unit Director they should be able to manage and advance a business's strategic objectives. Directing all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in accordance with the bank's objectives. Providing training, coaching, development and motivation for bank personnel. The business Unit Director is in charge of the operations and business growth of the business unit assigned to them.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals.
- Developing and implementing business plans to improve cost-efficiency.
- Maintaining positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities.
- Overseeing the business unit operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures.
- Ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.
- Guides the commercial actions in synergy with other entities of the company (building loyalty of existing customers, winning new customers, etc.)
- Commands production by considering external resources and cooperating with the other entities of organization the Group, being able to manage the budget and finances of the Business Unit.
- Manages human resources in coordination with HR department (recruitment, annual reviews, etc.)
- Makes sure the health and safety regulations are correctly applied
Functions
- To lead the Entry Transition Period, in order to guarantee the continuity of services through the permanent communication and negotiation with current contractors and the manager's team inside his own Business Unit.
- To direct the undertaking of the Activities and the Responsibilities as is described in Part I, 2.2 Overview of Scope during the different Periods and Phases of the Contract.
- To direct the development of short-term and long-term plans and budgets based upon Contract Objectives and NWC goals and objectives.
- To liaise with business, Authorities and its Consultants in his own Business Unit and attend regular meetings with the Client and its Consultants.
- To Ensure that HSE policy is adequately observed.
- To superintend the day-to-day site activities, coordinate forward planning, review and monitor all progress reports.
- To Ensure general procedures are followed as is required.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as permanenet employee of bidder. Experience in the Water Industry.
- Extensive experience as a Managing Director or in a similar role.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
