We're looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented
Tax Accountant
to join our Accounting & Finance team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the company's tax obligations in full compliance with KSA laws and regulations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and efficiency in all tax-related matters while providing proactive support to business units.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in corporate tax within a multinational or large organization, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of KSA tax laws, including VAT, WHT, and Excise Tax.
- Experience managing tax audits, appeals, and interactions with auditors and tax authorities.
- Good spoken English
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with KSA tax regulations and monitor changes in legislation.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (VAT, WHT, Excise Tax).
- Provide tax guidance and support to business units to minimize risk and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Manage and maintain accurate tax records and databases.
- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and tax authorities during audits and investigations.
- Review and validate AR transactions related to tax compliance and reconciliations.
- Lead initiatives to improve tax reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support process improvements and the implementation of tax best practices across the company.
Note: This is a 5-day on-site role based in Industrial City (Al-Mahjar District), Jeddah.

Senior Excise Tax & Zakat Specialist
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support all activities related to Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Excise Tax.
- Possess practical experience in handling Excise Tax, particularly for sweetened beverages and similar products.
- Ensure full compliance with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements regarding Excise Tax, including timely reporting, documentation, and payment.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Sales, and Customs departments to verify product codes and maintain up-to-date GPC/HS codes.
- Prepare responses to ZATCA audits and assessments related to Excise Tax and support in filing objections and appeals when necessary.
- Monitor regulatory updates on Excise Tax and provide analytical reports on their impact on business operations.
- Maintain accurate records of tax returns, documentation, payments, and official correspondence with ZATCA.
- Advise management on tax implications of new products or supply chain modifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as SOCPA or CertIFR are preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Zakat and Tax, with a focus on Excise Tax.
- Strong knowledge of ZATCA regulations and guidelines.
- Bilingual – Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.
- High proficiency in Excel and ERP accounting systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to interpret tax laws and effectively apply them within a business environment.
- Strong organizational, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with consultants and government authorities.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with relevant internal departments (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Operations, Customs, and Supply Chain) to ensure integrated tax and Zakat handling, particularly Excise Tax.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Senior Tax and Zakat Accountant
to manage and oversee all tax and zakat activities in compliance with Saudi tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, timely filing, and strategic tax planning to optimize financial performance while maintaining full compliance with ZATCA requirements.
