This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cost Management professional to join Gleeds Arabia as a senior member, leading a high-profile commission and playing a key role in developing and growing the business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As a senior member of the Gleeds leadership team, you will represent the company as an ambassador.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing key client relationships and service delivery
- Effective stakeholder management
- Ensuring commissions are managed according to Gleeds processes and controls
- Delivering high-quality cost management services that meet or exceed client requirements
- Maintaining and developing client relationships
- Leading and managing teams, including appraisals, training, and timesheets
- Focusing on employee retention and development
- Enhancing Gleeds' cost management capabilities
- Collaborating with other Directors across the region
Who we’re looking for:
- 15+ years of cost management experience post-MRICS qualification
- 5+ years of experience working in the GCC
- Extensive experience in leading cost consultancy projects
- Knowledge of pre and post contract cost management
- Leadership skills to motivate and support teams
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
- Specialist knowledge in a specific industry sector (e.g., Residential, Hotels, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Education)
- Proven ability to deliver client services and manage relationships
- Experience interfacing with clients and stakeholders at high levels
Qualifications:
- FRICS or MRICS or equivalent
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Native-level English proficiency, written and oral
- Arabic language skills are desirable

We are currently supporting a major infrastructure development in Riyadh to support our cost management function, we are seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimation Engineer with robust Middle East experience and a background in PMO environments.
The Cost Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and validating cost estimates across various phases of the project, including concept, design, procurement, and execution. The role requires strong analytical skills, market knowledge, and a proven track record in delivering cost estimates on large-scale infrastructure programs within the Middle East.
Prepare detailed and high-level cost estimates for infrastructure works including civil, utilities, roads, and public realm.
Support the PMO with cost benchmarking, estimation methodologies, and budget development.
Evaluate consultant and contractor estimates and provide cost assurance and value engineering input.
Analyze quantity take-offs and BOQs based on design drawings and specifications.
