- Serve as the technical authority on bridge and tunnel design projects across all project stages-from concept to detailed design.
- Lead the design and review of complex structural systems, ensuring technical accuracy, innovation, and compliance with local and international standards (AASHTO, Eurocode, BS, MOT, etc.).
- Manage and mentor structural engineers, designers, and technicians, promoting technical excellence and continuous development.
- Lead project delivery including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control for structural design packages.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and authorities to provide strategic advice, resolve technical issues, and build lasting relationships.
- Oversee preparation of reports, technical documentation, drawings, and specifications.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, bids, and presentations, and identifying new opportunities in the Saudi market.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and internal QA/QC processes.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including geotechnical, highway, MEP, and environmental disciplines.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree or PhD preferred).
- 15+ years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio of bridge and tunnel design projects, including at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects within consultancy or design-build environments.
- Strong familiarity with Saudi authority requirements (MOT, Arriyadh Development Authority, Royal Commission, etc.).
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., MIDAS, SOFiSTiK, LUSAS, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit).
- Professional certification such as PE, CEng, or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage client relationships.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience contributing to business growth.

In this role you will get to play technical contributor to the airport infrastructure project, ensuring that roadways, bridges, and associated civil structures are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

+ Review and validate designs for roads, bridges, and related civil structures to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory codes.
