What You’ll Be Doing:

• Developing Detailed 3D Model Standards: Creating accurate and information-rich 3D models of all dry utility networks, including conduits, cables, ducts, poles, transformers, manholes, handholes, lighting fixtures, security devices, and associated hardware.

• Leading Dry Utility Coordination Meetings: Facilitating coordination meetings specific to dry utility systems, ensuring all stakeholders understand the spatial requirements and constraints.
• Performing Advanced Clash Detection: Running clash detection analysis specifically focused on identifying conflicts within the dry utility systems and between dry utilities and other disciplines (e.g., wet utilities, roads, landscape).
• Collaborating on Clash Resolution: Working closely with electrical engineers, telecommunications engineers, security consultants, and other discipline BIM engineers to analyze and resolve identified clashes effectively.
• Managing Changes and Revisions: Updating the dry utility models based on design changes and ensuring all stakeholders are informed of revisions.

• Implementing Dry Utility BIM Workflows: Assisting in establishing and implementing BIM workflows tailored to the specific needs of dry utility design and coordination.

The
BIM Modeler Lead
will be responsible for leading the Building Information Modeling (BIM) function across projects, ensuring that all design and construction documentation is developed, coordinated, and delivered according to project standards and requirements. The role involves managing BIM teams, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors, and ensuring model accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

1. BIM Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and supervise BIM modelers across multiple disciplines (architecture, structural, MEP, etc.).

Job Description:

In this position, you will be responsible for Coordination & Review of BIM Deliverables, conducting quality checks on infrastructure projects to guarantee that BIM Models and other deliverables adhere to the EIR and ISO19650 standards.
