Position Overview
:
The Billing Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of our invoices and payments related to our port and terminal operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, possess strong attention to detail, and be capable of maintaining accurate billing records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify the accuracy of billing data, including rates, quantities, and customer information.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records, both electronically and physically.
- Process payments received from customers and accurately record them in the accounting system.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate with customers regarding past-due payments.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues and resolve discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to billing and financial record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Associate's degree in accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in a billing clerk or similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Experience with accounting or billing software is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Role & Responsibilities
- Accurately enter customer purchases into the billing software.
- Generate invoices and bills based on customer requests.
- Correctly record whether each transaction is
cash or credit
. - Answer basic price inquiries from walk-in customers.
- Maintain clarity and accuracy in all billing-related tasks.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Arabic
(required). - Knowledge of
Hindi
is an advantage. - Basic computer/data entry skills.
- Good communication and polite customer service.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Valid
Iqama status preferred

Work Schedule
- Shop operating hours:
8:00 AM – 11:00 PM
. - Closed during
Salah (prayer) times
. - Full-time and part-time shifts
available within operating hours. - Part-time staff must be available for a minimum of
6 hours per day
, depending on business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary:
SAR 2,000 – 4,000
