What will you be doing?
Working with the Product teams (Product Managers, Analysts and Engineers), you will help define the opportunities for our products in Saudi Arabia and in other markets in the Gulf, and will help build better products and experiences for our customers. You will collaborate across teams and inspire others so that we deliver the best solution. Your contribution will mainly be from the payments infrastructure, regulatory and operational banking partnerships point of view.

Your Mission
To own and expand Wise's regulatory presence in the region.

  • Identify the most appropriate way to grow Wise in Saudi Arabia, and in other countries in the region. You will manage the entire licensing process for Wise's entry into Saudi Arabia and will: understand the regulations, prepare, coordinate and submit the application, and get the regulatory buy-in as well as support the fulfillment of any other local requirements for the licence applications.
  • Identify opportunities to offer the best product in the market taking advantage of future authorizations
  • Understand existing and new regulations and figure out the best ways our product can comply with them. You will translate regulatory requirements into product implementations together with our Compliance teams. You will be one of the product team's go-to people for regulatory knowledge. We see regulation as an opportunity

Contribute to defining the opportunities and direction for our products in Saudi Arabia. Collaborate across teams and inspire others so that we deliver the best solution.

  • Work closely with product teams (Product Managers and Product Engineers) to develop our vision and build better products and experiences for our customers. Your contribution will mainly be from the payments infrastructure, regulatory and operational banking partnerships point of view.
  • Work with our global teams (Product, Finance, Treasury, etc.) to ensure our customers and products are at the centre of our mission.

To Build New Relationships With Relevant Financial Institutions

  • Open new relationships with relevant financial institutions (i.e. banks, payment processors, cards issuers, processors, etc.). You will manage the process end-to-end: find the right potential partners, pitch Wise as a client, negotiate the commercial agreements and contracts, complete account opening forms, explain our compliance processes, pass due diligence, and do anything else needed to be ready for development.

Take ownership of improving existing relationships with transactional banking partners and other financial institutions. You will:

  • Lead commercial and relationship discussions with partners and monitor our economics to ensure we offer the most sustainable and competitive service in the market.
  • Create new opportunities within existing relationships with financial institutions in Saudi Arabia and in the Gulf to ensure we continuously improve our product (i.e. increase speed, reduce costs, add more visibility to our transactions, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Able to independently negotiate the most ideal terms with a clear product vision and understanding in mind and you can figure out the ideal operational and commercial process with every new partner.
  • Excellent at managing financial regulatory relationships, constantly creating opportunities to improve them.
  • Someone who is keen to be always hands-on and brings an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Deep understanding of how financial, payments and FX regulators work and the different decision makers that need to be taken into account to make things happen.
  • Understand financial, payments and FX regulation in a changing regulatory environment and have an interest in AML/KYC and risk controls.
  • Familiar with different financial licensing frameworks and requirements in Saudi Arabia, including payments institutions, FX brokers, and securities brokers.
  • Familiar with how corporate banks and financial institutions work and their decision makers. You're excellent at managing those relationships and are constantly creating opportunities to improve them.
  • You are fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Happy to work independently and flexibly within a fast-moving environment.
  • Passionate about transforming the financial industry for good.
  • In line with local regulatory requirements for this specific role, any candidate must be a Saudi national.

It Would Be Ideal, But Not Essential If You

  • Have strong relationships and experience with regulators in Saudi Arabia, especially SAMA.
  • Understand financial regulation in the broader Gulf region, or have experience working with financial regulators.
  • Have experience in obtaining licenses in the Gulf.
  • Understands payments infrastructure in the region and is well-versed in the nuances of the FX market in the Gulf.

  • Proven track record of acting on a variety of finance transactions.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Animator with expertise in Lottie animations to support the Digital Design team of one of our leading banking clients. You'll be responsible for creating smooth, lightweight animations for digital platforms such as mobile apps, web interfaces, and digital onboarding journeys.

This role is ideal for someone who understands motion design in a UX context and can deliver clean, scalable animations that elevate the user experience without impacting performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create high-quality motion graphics and animations for:

  • Mobile and web banking apps

  • Onboarding flows and success states
  • Empty states, loaders, confirmations, and micro-interactions

  • Export animations in Lottie format using tools like Bodymovin

  • Work closely with:

  • UX/UI Designers to align animations with design systems and customer journeys

  • Developers to ensure seamless integration of Lottie files in mobile/web platforms
  • Product and CX teams to understand business goals and user behavior

  • Optimize animations for performance and responsiveness

  • Maintain and update a library of reusable Lottie animations and design assets
  • Adhere to the client's brand, accessibility, and compliance standards
Requirements

Must-Have:

  • 2–4 years of experience in animation or motion design for digital products
  • Experience designing animations for the financial or fintech sector
  • Strong portfolio with Lottie animation samples, ideally for mobile/web platforms
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Bodymovin
  • Native or fluent Arabic speaker with understanding of RTL interface needs
  • Solid grasp of animation principles and micro-interaction design
  • Ability to adapt animations to Arabic culture, iconography, and readability
  • Familiarity with UX/UI workflows and collaboration tools (Figma, Zeplin, etc.)

About the Role:

We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Copywriter to support the Digital Banking team of one of our key banking clients. In this role, you will be embedded within the client's digital department, working closely with UX designers, product teams, and compliance stakeholders to deliver clear, concise, and customer-centric content across digital platforms.

This position focuses on writing UX and UI content for web and mobile banking services, ensuring that all communication is aligned with the bank's tone of voice, accessibility standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective, user-friendly copy for:

  • Mobile and web interfaces (labels, buttons, error messages, tooltips)

  • Customer journeys (onboarding, transactions, payments, KYC flows)
  • In-app messaging, service alerts, notifications, and chatbot scripts

  • Translate technical or regulatory language into clear, plain language for everyday users

  • Collaborate daily with the bank's:

  • UX/UI Designers

  • Product Managers
  • Legal and Compliance Teams
  • Developers and QA

  • Contribute to content style guides, tone-of-voice documents, and internal documentation

  • Support digital transformation initiatives by auditing and rewriting legacy content
  • Ensure all copy meets accessibility (e.g., WCAG), legal, and brand guidelines
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and UX reviews as part of Agile squads
Requirements
Required Experience & Skills:

Must-Have:

  • 3–5 years of professional copywriting experience, ideally within digital or financial services
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing, microcopy, or app/web content
  • Familiarity with digital banking products and services
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional product teams
  • Knowledge of writing for accessibility and inclusive design
  • Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and tone

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience working directly with enterprise clients or in agency/consulting settings
  • Familiarity with UX tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Previous experience in banking or regulated industries
