About The Role …

As a Cloud Architect Manager at Artefact, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions that support our clients’ data and technology ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure cloud architecture is aligned with business needs, optimizing tool selection, cost efficiency, and scalability. Additionally, you will lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and contribute to Artefact’s growth by driving innovation and promoting best practices in cloud technology.

What You'll Be Doing …

  • Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure architectures (cloud, on-premise, hybrid) aligned with business requirements.
  • Define and enforce best practices for cloud platform deployment and configuration, security, networking, operations and tools selection.
  • Oversee the integration of cloud platforms with data pipelines, storage, and compute services.
  • Standardize coding, deployment, and monitoring practices across cloud environments.
  • Design and implement automated solutions to set up, monitor, and adjust cloud infrastructure efficiently.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives for complex technical challenges related to cloud environments.
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple cloud projects, ensuring efficient resource management.
  • Foster teamwork by mentoring, coaching and guiding cloud engineers and ensuring knowledge transfer.
  • Manage client relationships regarding project expectations, timelines, and outcomes.

  • Strong expertise in cloud security, networking, and compliance frameworks.
  • Led the end-to-end design of highly available, secure, and cost-optimized Azure environments for enterprise customers, leveraging services such as Azure Virtual Network, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure App Service.
  • Defined multi-region DR/HA architectures using Azure Traffic Manager, paired regions, and Azure Site Recovery, achieving RTOs under 1 hour for mission-critical workloads.
  • Enable automated patching, scaling, and monitoring tasks via Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and PowerShell DSC, improving operational efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of cloud cost optimization, monitoring, and high availability design patterns.
  • Collaborated with data engineers to optimize architectures on Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Synapse, and MS Fabric
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing technical teams and large-scale projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience creating business-focused presentations.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities for complex, multi-disciplinary cloud projects.

Responsible for driving sales growth and creating tailored cloud managed services solutions for enterprise customers. This role combines deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with strong business acumen to deliver value-based solutions aligned with client objectives.

Roles And Responsibilities

Daily tasks and delivery expectation

  • Own the full sales lifecycle for cloud managed services, from qualification to closure.
  • Engage with CxO-level stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose appropriate cloud Services solutions.
  • Design managed service offerings for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, cloud cost optimization, DRaaS, monitoring, and governance.
  • Build tailored proposals, TCO/ROI models, and contractual structures for multi-year cloud outsourcing deals.

  • Drive commercial strategy, Operational and pricing models, and SLA/XLA definition.

Leads the pre-sales and solution development for IT Service Management (ITSM) managed services. Responsible for crafting scalable, SLA-driven solutions leveraging industry-standard tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC, MicroFocus) and frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) to transform client IT operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily tasks and delivery expectation

  • Lead client engagements focused on transforming and managing ITSM operations.
  • Analyze client service delivery challenges and develop value-driven managed service proposals.
  • Design ITSM operating models covering Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
  • Define service levels (SLAs, XLAs), governance models, KPIs, and reporting structures.
  • Integrate ITSM with AIOps, automation, and observability platforms to reduce MTTR and improve service quality.
  • Participate in pricing strategy and cost modeling, aligning effort with service scope and tooling.
  • Collaborate with platform SMEs and operations teams to validate service delivery capabilities.
  • Position ITSM as a key enabler for IT modernization, cloud, Application, security and digital workplace initiatives.

Responsible for driving sales growth and creating tailored cloud managed services solutions for enterprise customers. This role combines deep technical expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with strong business acumen to deliver value-based solutions aligned with client objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Daily tasks and delivery expectation

  • Own the full sales lifecycle for cloud managed services, from qualification to closure.

  • Engage with CxO-level stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose appropriate cloud Services solutions.

  • Design managed service offerings for IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, cloud cost optimization, DRaaS, monitoring, and governance.

  • Build tailored proposals, TCO/ROI models, and contractual structures for multi-year cloud outsourcing deals.

  • Collaborate with delivery, architecture, Application and security teams to ensure solution feasibility and compliance.

  • Drive commercial strategy, Operational and pricing models, and SLA/XLA definition.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hyperscale’s (Azure, AWS, GCP), ISVs, and OEM partners.

  • Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and lead cloud transformation workshops with clients.

  • Track and achieve quarterly/annual sales targets in alignment with the cloud GTM strategy.

  • Stay updated on emerging cloud trends and competitive landscape to refine offerings.

    • The Main Objective of this role is to translate the technical specification of the products or solution in a straightforward business language to the clients and to generate demands in his specialized solution areas within customer segments with specific approaches.
    • He/She will be engaged in all technical sales activities, and He must have Microsoft Azure-specific knowledge., Any certifications and specializations to back up that knowledge are highly recommended.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to build a winning strategy, whiteboard with a customer and team members - Build BOM’s, Costing Analysis, SOW’s, and Visio’s
    • Able to relay technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
    • Develop strategic relationships with Microsoft.
    • Manage and support the pre-sales process in cooperation with the sales Team.

    • Provide strategic technical advice to customers, communicating value-added contributions of MS products and services (mainly Microsoft Azure), including both long term messages about products, technologies, and services, as well as short term positioning for competitive situations or dynamic market conditions.
    • Support Proof of Concepts, Architecture Design Sessions and Strategy/Technology Briefings proving Microsoft’s capabilities and other products can meet customer’s requirements.
    • Build Proactive GTM Approaches for Azure Solutions.
    • Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue growth.
Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing Azure solutions that meet customer needs and align with best practices and industry standards.
  • Work with the Sales Team and Operations in evolving the proposition.
  • Leading the design and implementation of complex cloud solutions, including integrating with other systems and platforms.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other architects, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Conducting architecture assessments, providing recommendations, and creating roadmaps to help customers achieve their business goals.
  • Advising and guiding customers on cloud-related topics, including security, compliance, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Understand customer needs: Work closely with customers to understand their business objectives and technical requirements. Identify opportunities where Azure solutions can address customer challenges and add value to their business.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices and sharing this knowledge with customers and the internal team.
  • Design solutions for customers and document the scope of projects.
  • Conduct presentations to customers both in-person and using telepresence as well as other collaboration tools.
  • Prepare demos and POCs for customers that will help open new pipelines.
  • Proposal development: Develop proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the proposed solution, its business value, and its technical capabilities. Work closely with sales teams to ensure proposals are accurate and meet customer requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams, technical architects, and other subject matter experts to ensure proposed solutions meet customer needs and align with company strategy.
  • Coordinate with the Microsoft for both opportunities and Approaches Alignment.
  • Provide continuous support and knowledge transfer to the Sales team in the specialized areas.
  • Attend pre-sales meetings with sales staff and meetings with the customer where input/contribution is required.
  • Presenting and demonstrating Ctelecoms services to customers.
  • Primary Focused Domain(s): Microsoft Azure (Focusing on Infrastructure and Migration), Active Directory, Hyper-V, SQL Servers, Networking, and Backup & DR.
  • Build scope of work/low level technical scope and technical design documents based on the business requirements.
  • Assist the Sales team in forecasting and managing the Microsoft pipeline, meeting sales goals, and achieving targets.
  • Explore cross-selling and up-selling opportunities by coordinating with Microsoft and other vendors and manage opportunities on both CRM and the Microsoft Partner Center Portal.
  • Coordinate with Microsoft Teams and other vendors for aligning opportunities and approaches.
  • Support Marketing by providing continuous technologies updates in (Articles, Videos, Events …etc.).
  • Conduct frequent internal knowledge transfer and enablement sessions for the Sales Team.
  • Completes required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload / industry.

Qualification (Education/Work Experience)

  • BA in Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, and resilience.
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Infrastructure Technologies.
  • Minimum 3 years of Experience in presales.
  • Expertise in Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, and resilience.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Azure certifications, such as the Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification, are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of core architectural concepts, including distributed computing, scalability, availability, and performance within depth knowledge of MS Azure IaaS, PaaS SaaS services, and Building a technical architecture in MS Azure.
  • Experienced with operating Azure Stack infrastructure end-to-end - planning, deployment and integration, packaging and offering cloud resources and requested services on the infrastructure.
  • Have good experience and Hands-on on the following tools (Azure Migration and assessment tools, Azure site recovery deployment planner tool, Azure price calculator, AVD Experience Estimator).
