AWS ProServe is seeking a ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA), focusing on Financial Services Industries (FSI). This role will be focused on helping FSI customers build or migrate their business workloads on AWS.
From ideation through to build and then to operate, AWS ProServe is committed to helping customers accelerate their time-to-value on AWS. This Senior PCA will be based in Riyadh but have a regional wide remit in the Professional Services team. Their focus will be on providing pre-sales support with customer executives followed by hands-on-delivery for FSI workloads.
Successful candidates will have executive level experience in leading, defining, designing and deploying enterprise level strategic solutions in the FSI domain. Domain expertise should include deep, practical and hands-on understanding of Banking solutions.
The ideal candidate will also have experience with large scale cloud migration, automation, and GenAI.
Key job responsibilities
Deliver value – Lead and support local ProServe delivery teams as a Subject Matter Expert to deliver transformational ProServe technical engagements for AWS customers in the FSI domain
Pre-sales support – Create and deliver presentations to customers that inspire the art of the possible in FSI using cloud computing. Understand customer requirements and collaborate with AWS sales leaders to scope, present, and win new FSI customer engagements
Industry Leadership – Identify common customer interest and innovate new technology offerings. Work with the global FSI Industry team to stay-ahead of the leading-edge platform services and ProServe technology offerings.
Industry Expertise Transfer – Upskill AWS ProServe builders on proven ProServe FSI offerings.
This is an executive level customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.

Basic Qualifications
7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience
Solid experience with large scale migration for FSI customers and consulting experience working with FSI solutions or working as a subject matter expert (SME) in a financial services organization.
Ability to create compelling customer proposals and executive-level presentation skills and demonstrable hands-on experience with FSI domain workloads e.g., Core Banking.
Expert level understanding of Cloud Computing, Hybrid, Multi-cloud environments
Preferred Qualifications
AWS Cloud Certifications
Fluent English communication and presentation skills

In this role, you will collaborate with Data Center Operations leaders, HRBPs, and partner teams to innovate, implement, and deploy HR strategies from talent and performance management, compensation, employee relations and other HR functions across the cluster of Data Centers you support. This role also has a special focus on leveraging Builder listening mechanisms to proactively monitor and analyze Builder sentiment trends, and provide regular sentiment updates and recommended actions to site leadership and HR Business Partners. To thrive, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to manage multiple scenarios utilizing HR expertise, consulting skills, and influence.
