We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud&Systems Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, operating systems, backup strategies, and hybrid environments including Nutanix . This role is critical for designing, deploying, and maintaining robust infrastructure solutions across AWS and Nutanix platforms, with a focus on automation, high availability, security, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Infrastructure & Database Management
- Architect and support AWS workloads including RDS, Aurora, and EC2-hosted databases
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies using AWS Backup, RDS snapshots, and native backup tools
- Optimize AWS resource utilization and costs, including use of Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Serverless databases
- Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for provisioning infrastructure with tools like CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
- Manage Terraform state files securely and follow IaC best practices
- Administer Linux and Windows EC2 instances, including patching, hardening, and performance tuning
- Use AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for instance management, inventory, and remote automation
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues and ensure logging and monitoring are in place
- Support Nutanix-based on-prem infrastructure, focusing on AHV, Prism Central, and Nutanix Files/Volumes
- Design and maintain hybrid cloud solutions integrating Nutanix with AWS (e.g., via AWS Outposts, VPNs, Direct Connect, Veeam)
- Assist in migrating VMs and workloads between AWS and Nutanix
- Monitor Nutanix clusters for performance, availability, and backup success
- Leverage Nutanix-native snapshots, replication, and data protection for critical workloads
- Familiar with subnets, Security Groups, NACLs, PrivateLink, and VPC Peering
- Manage DNS with Route 53, including high availability and failover configurations
- Implement security best practices to meet compliance requirements like PCI-DSS
- Utilize CloudWatch, AWS Config, and CloudTrail for real-time monitoring and compliance
- Set up centralized backup strategies for RDS, EC2, EBS, and Nutanix workloads using AWS Backup and Veeam
- Conduct periodic DR tests and validate recovery procedures
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and DevOps teams to deliver secure and reliable infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in hybrid and cloud environments
- Stay up to date with the latest AWS and Nutanix features, tools, and security guidelines
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure
- 1+ year of experience managing Nutanix environments (AHV, Prism Central, AOS)
- Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration
- Proficient with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC tools
- Understanding of cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, and security compliance
- Familiarity with backup and DR tools, such as AWS Backup, Veeam, or Nutanix native tools
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
- Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP-MCI or NCP-DS)

Job Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive OpenShift Support Engineer to join our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing OpenShift clusters, deploying containerized applications, and providing end-to-end platform support. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift, with a focus on ensuring system reliability, performance, and security. The engineer will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support scalable and resilient containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot containerized applications and services using OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Continuously monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity; implement optimization strategies as needed
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy, scale, and manage microservices-based applications
- Configure and maintain critical platform integrations such as NTP, LDAP, and storage solutions for persistent data
- Implement and maintain robust security practices, including vulnerability patching and access controls for OpenShift environments
- Automate operational tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Support backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions for containerized workloads
- Perform regular upgrades and patching of OpenShift components and dependencies
- Troubleshoot issues related to networking, storage, and application performance in containerized environments
- Participate in capacity planning, performance tuning, and platform optimization initiatives
- Evaluate third-party tools and plugins to enhance cluster capabilities and improve operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, best practices, and troubleshooting playbooks
- Stay updated with the latest developments in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and container orchestration technologies
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience:
- Preferred banking experience
- 4+ years of experience in private cloud infrastructure engineering or similar roles
- Proven track record of managing large-scale private cloud environments
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience managing OpenShift clusters in a production environment
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Kubernetes, OpenShift, and containerized workloads
- Hands-on experience with NTP and LDAP configuration in OpenShift
- Solid understanding of container networking, storage management, and performance monitoring
- Experience implementing security best practices for containerized environments
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams
- Familiarity with disaster recovery, backups, and high-availability design

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cloud Engineer specializing in hyper-scaler cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) , OCVS , and GCP . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional consulting skills to deliver tailored cloud solutions to our clients.
Role And Responsibilities
- Design, implement, operate, manage and optimize cloud solutions
- Configure and deploy cloud resources, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements
- Conduct cloud assessments, identifying opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs
- Implement best practices for cloud operations, governance, and compliance
- Deliver technical workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams
- Stay updated with the latest features and advancements in OCI, GCP, and other hyper-scaler platforms
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience on one of the hyperscalers (OCI - OCVS - GCP)
- Excellent troubleshooting and innovative problem-solving abilities, as well as the ability to act quickly
- Good understanding of Containers, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Demonstrates the highest level of detail orientation and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and best practices
- ITIL Certified
- Solid understanding of cloud practice for backup and DR deployments
- Proven track of successful deployments and managed services
- This role might require working outside of business hours and during weekends and travel outside of Egypt for a prolonged period of time
