Job Description
We are looking for an effective leader to fill our Economic Development Compliance Principal role and help our team support AWS' rapid expansion. The role will be responsible for compliance, analysis, reporting, and realization of our economic development and incentives portfolio and driving economic development and incentive policy initiatives. The role is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with authorities having jurisdiction.
Key job responsibilities
· Resolve compliance directly with national, state, and community economic development, workforce and labor, taxation, and other key government agencies
· Build and maintain relationships with authorities having jurisdiction
· Oversee ongoing compliance matters: forecasting, monetizing, commitment tracking, and program implementation
· Develop tools and procedures for collecting Legal, HR, Tax, Finance, Accounting, Infrastructure, and Payroll data to prepare consistent application and compliance filings for government agencies on an ongoing basis
· Collaborate on compliance with Legal, Tax, HR, Finance, Payroll and other business partners
· Manage relationships with outside professional service providers
· Research and issue-spot contractual, statutory, or regulatory requirements
· Analyze, scrutinize, and build reports from large Excel data sets
· Identify and drive opportunities for automation and process improvement
· Develop impactful monthly/quarterly metrics and reporting
A day in the life
You will work directly with a global portfolio of governments, granting agencies, and economic development organizations. Internally you will lead efforts to partner with allied teams who also support expansion projects and economic development transactions. Principal duties include day-to-day management of our economic development incentives program and mechanisms, portfolio analysis, internal process improvement, and internal/external communication with senior leadership. You will lead the implementation of new tooling and mechanisms, improving and inventing internal processes to drive efficiency. You will be expected to conduct incentives research and bench-marking analysis, review legal agreements, and provide incentive pursuit and application support.
Basic Qualifications
· 12+ years of compliance, credits and incentives, public policy, or program management experience
· 5+ years of people or consultant management experience
· Experience managing a multi-jurisdictional portfolio
· Experience analyzing and summarizing tax code, law, or contracts · Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to leadership
· Experience producing audit-ready compliance documentation and managing audits
· Bachelor's degree in public policy, finance, accounting, tax, business, economic development, or data center infrastructure experience
Preferred Qualifications
15+ years of compliance, credits and incentives, public policy, or program management experience
· 8+ years of people or consultant management experience
· Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
· Proficiency in Excel
· Active CPA license or other relevant professional certification
· Demonstrated track record of success in developing successful partnerships with governments or regulators
· Experience with CRM, project management, data visualization, and automation tools
· Excellent stakeholder management skills
· Public policy, economic development, data center infrastructure or government affairs experience
· MBA, Master of Tax, JD, LLM

- Manage DNS with Route 53, including high availability and failover configurations

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Execute strategic NoventiQ's AWS CoE target in the country.
- Foster key relationships and drive high-impact engagements within the region.
- Execute the multi-year Strategic Plan with AWS at a country level.

The Public Sector Marketing Manager MENAT, is an integral part of the MENAT Field Marketing team who is responsible for delivering integrated marketing programs and will interface directly with the EMEA and Global Organizations. The role will design and develop integrated marketing programs to drive further adoption of AWS among technical influencers and decision makers in the government, education, health care and state-owned enterprises in MENAT. Successful candidates must be able to recognize the needs of these market segments and use this understanding to propose targeted messaging, content and customer facing marketing campaigns. The position is based in Riyadh.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute public sector field marketing programs and activities that help to drive awareness, education, customer adoption and pipeline acceleration.
• Apply integrated marketing campaign best practices and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience across multiple channels and tactics.
• Inform regional planning process to MENAT public sector target customers and priorities are top-of-mind in all regional marketing activities.
• Leverage global marketing resources to meet sales requirements and find ways to invent and simplify to address sales needs without large budgets.
• Define targeting and customer segmentation for marketing campaign efforts across a variety of channels and initiatives.
• Act as marketing contact with sales team and leaders, including regular participation in sales team calls, in-person meetings and planning sessions.
• Inform country demand generation planning process with the Public Sector priorities to ensure greatest possible success of programs. Ensure target customers and priorities are top of mind in all country marketing activities.
• Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with Pre-sales, Demand Generation and Solution Architects teams to support their goals, working in conjunction with other marketing leaders and with peers, increasing engagement with marketing and drive program support.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business and build the right marketing plans and programs in support of business and sales stakeholder objectives.
• Deliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with field marketing stakeholders to ensure ongoing clarity on strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for campaigns.
• Provide detailed campaign updates via regular and ad hoc business reviews, which highlight key metrics and KPIs reflecting performance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 5+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
– Speak, write, and read fluently in Arabic
