We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to support our maintenance organization by solving complex technical issues and sharing technical knowledge across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring safe working practices and executing operations according to maintenance and safety instructions to guarantee the safety of end-users and colleagues.
- Resolving complex technical issues assigned by THD.
- Performing initial visits for new equipment from competitors or KONE, as requested by sales or supervisors.
- Identifying technical issues in equipment under maintenance that could cause call-outs or safety hazards, addressing these issues, generating sales leads, and communicating with the THD Manager.
- Recognizing gaps in technical competence necessary for maintaining new equipment, and communicating these to the Maintenance Supervisor or Technical Helpdesk Manager.
- Providing feedback on repairs or adjustments that could reduce call-outs and maintaining active communication with the Technical Helpdesk Manager.
- Contributing to product, method, and safety improvements by providing feedback to the THD Manager.
- Planning workload effectively in coordination with the THD Manager.
- Handling complex remote monitoring and alarm system issues assigned by THD, managing customer relationships.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through quality service and proactive, clear on-site communication.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and on-site users by adopting a service-oriented leadership approach.
- Enhancing the technical skills of Maintenance Technicians by explaining root causes and solutions.
- Sharing knowledge of Field Letters, Express Letters, and new maintenance methodologies (ASG documents).
- Providing training and coaching to Maintenance Technicians nominated by the THD or Maintenance Operations manager.
Qualifications and experience include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in the Elevator & Escalator industry.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
