Key Role:
- This position ensures that the control systems run efficiently, are maintained properly, and remain functional to prevent downtime and ensure operational safety.
Responsibilities:
- Perform commissioning and maintenance of DCS / SAS / SCMS / SCS / PMS systems.
- Conduct FAT and SAT activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in DCS system equipment.
- Provide technical support for system upgrades, modifications, and troubleshooting.
- Review project documentation across different phases, including tendering, design, hardware & material selection, erection, testing, and commission.

- Perform ping tests and other network diagnostics related to Automation and Control Systems (DCS).
- Assist in troubleshooting and integrating automation systems.
- Understand the basis for card changes in the DCS system.
- Support DCS Engineers in daily operations and maintenance activities.
- Travel across GCC countries as per project needs.
Education:
- B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Certifications in DCS/SAS systems or related automation technologies.
Requirements:
- Experience with SCADA, PLC, and RTU systems.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity measures in industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of DCS, SAS, SCMS, SCS, PMS, and BACS.
- Experience in FAT, SAT, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Proficiency in handling BCU, IEDs, and digital relay access.
- Familiarity with network diagnostics and communication protocols used in industrial automation.

Job Summary
Bechtel is looking for a Senior C&I Engineer who has extensive experience with planning and executing greenfield and brownfield with a proven track record seeking technical/leadership challenges in Control systems and Instrumentation field. Projects ideally in one of the following, Natural gas processing, Coal, gas or biomass to chemicals, Refinery and Petrochemicals, Carbon capture and sequestration, Solar and/or combined cycle power plants, Hydrogen value chain, onshore pipelines, and has familiarity with current process technologies and licensors associated with the above.
The role has a range of responsibilities and will focus on planning and scheduling and conducting evaluations, selections of applications and adaptations of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in one discipline in a project or staff group. Arranging detailed phases of engineering work require judgment in the application of techniques. as well as prepare or assist in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals.
Major Responsibilities

Education And Experience Requirements
- A recognized degree in a job-related engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited college or university, or a professional license in an appropriate engineering discipline from a recognized licensing board.
- Experience in executing Middle Eastern projects, brownfield experience and familiarity with Aramco standards and specifications is highly desirable.
- At least 10 years of related experience in Petrochemical, Energy Transition or Oil and Gas industry.
- Pre-FEED and FEED experiences in related types projects
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Extensive knowledge of applicable industry / regulatory codes and standards, and design
- Extensive knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines.
- Good knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved.
- Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, materials and software and methods of application for C&I discipline.
- Knowledge of control and safety systems, including the management of a Main Automation Contractor (MAC) and the BPCS, SIS, FGS and PLCs
- Knowledge of instrumentation covering both primary and final elements

Major Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, directs and participates in the day-to-day C&I engineering activity on large complex, or may be assigned responsibility for multiple smaller projects within a global business unit.
- Coordination of C&I activities in multiple execution centres and/or with joint venture partners, ensuring consistency throughout the design.
- Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of C&I engineering personnel, estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work accordingly.
- Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline jobhour estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly.
- Maintains contact with other disciplines to ensure the coordination of the work within the project(s) and compliance with Bechtel/client requirements.
- Reviews and makes recommendations for the C&I aspects of bid evaluations.
- Reviews and approves key calculations, design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings and change orders.
- Ensures that assigned C&I personnel receive appropriate on-the-job training for their professional development.
- Provides technical/expert support to project teams and ensures safety and technical quality is maintained.
- Provides input to and owns the engineering elements of a project capital estimate (proposals and execution) quantities and budgets for the discipline.
- Provides the technical input to meet Estimating and Procurement requirements.
- Provides technical support to internal and external customers.
- Provides input to, reviews and influences project schedule.
- Applies broad and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices to project engineering.
- Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to upper management.
- Makes decisions independently concerning problems within the discipline on the project.
- Represents the discipline on the project and with the client to resolve technical questions and as required to coordinate work.

Job Summary:Bechtel is looking for a Lead C&I Engineer who has extensive experience with planning and executing greenfield and brownfield with a proven track record seeking technical/leadership challenges in Control systems and Instrumentation field. The role has a range of responsibilities and will focus on planning and scheduling and conducting evaluations, selections of applications and adaptations of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in one discipline in a project or staff group. Major Responsibilities:- Plans, develops, directs and participates in the day-to-day C&I engineering activity on large complex, or may be assigned responsibility for multiple smaller projects within a global business unit.
- Coordination of C&I activities in multiple execution centres and/or with joint venture partners, ensuring consistency throughout the design.
- Supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of C&I engineering personnel, estimates staffing needs and schedules and assigns work accordingly.
- Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline jobhour estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly.
- Maintains contact with other disciplines to ensure the coordination of the work within the project(s) and compliance with Bechtel/client requirements.
- Reviews and makes recommendations for the C&I aspects of bid evaluations.

Job Purpose:
The Head of Control Systems Security Unit leads and coordinates efforts to protect Industrial Control Systems (ICS/SCADA) from cyber risks and threats. - Develop and implement security measures to protect the control systems network from unauthorized access attempts and external threats, using firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and advanced protection technologies.
- Apply security techniques to control system components (servers, workstations, network devices) by disabling unnecessary services, removing unused accounts, and performing regular security updates and patches.
- Supervise monitoring and incident response activities within control systems, including incident analysis and reporting.
