Job Summary
Bechtel is looking for a Senior C&I Engineer who has extensive experience with planning and executing greenfield and brownfield with a proven track record seeking technical/leadership challenges in Control systems and Instrumentation field. Projects ideally in one of the following, Natural gas processing, Coal, gas or biomass to chemicals, Refinery and Petrochemicals, Carbon capture and sequestration, Solar and/or combined cycle power plants, Hydrogen value chain, onshore pipelines, and has familiarity with current process technologies and licensors associated with the above.

Job Summary

Education And Experience Requirements

  • Proven track record of leadership in a group supervisor role and strong familiarity with Bechtel's own work processes and standards.
  • Experience in executing Middle Eastern projects, brownfield experience and familiarity with Aramco standards and specifications is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable industry / regulatory codes and standards, and design.

Required Knowledge And Skills

  • Pre-FEED, FEED and PMC experience and familiarity with current process technologies and licensors associated with the above.

Job Purpose:

The Head of Control Systems Security Unit leads and coordinates efforts to protect Industrial Control Systems (ICS/SCADA) from cyber risks and threats. This includes developing and implementing security policies and procedures, overseeing the application of relevant national and international standards and controls, and ensuring the operational infrastructure complies with cybersecurity requirements. The role also plays a key part in risk management, incident response, and the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans, contributing to strengthening the security and reliability of operational systems and safeguarding the organization's critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security measures to protect the control systems network from unauthorized access attempts and external threats, using firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and advanced protection technologies.

  • Supervise monitoring and incident response activities within control systems, including incident analysis and reporting.
