What are my responsibilities?
- Support the Site Manager regarding mechanical installation, commissioning and maintenance of equipment across various projects in the region.
- Guide and educate subcontractors with installation best practices.
- Coordinate with the construction and Procurement departments to identify the tools and consumables required for the site execution.
- Design and produce mechanical systems, design calculations, drawings and scope of works.
- Support and supervise the Installation of mechanical services for projects.
- Preparation of work packages for the site installation teams.
- Support the proposals department with input for upcoming projectsand share previously learned lessons.Monitor and report on the site progress.
- Supporting the quality team with inspections, closing out snag points and eventual handover to the client.
- Identify potential risks for failures and implement preventive actions with the Engineering and Drafting teams to prevent defects in the Engineering and Drafting deliverables.
- Responsible for implementing and monitoring all mechanical-related works at the site as per approved drawings and methods.
- Accountable to follow occupational health, safety, security, environment and quality practices.
What do I need to qualify for the role?
- Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and installation practices in the Industrial automation domain, specifically in Baggage Handling or Material Handling Systems.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD Mechanical, REVIT.
- Strong knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica, or similar) and mechanical design and installation practices.
- Effective interpersonal skills, ability to engage internal and external stakeholders, and good to have worked in multiple cultural areas.
- Willingness to work on projects outside of KSA.
- Fluent in English, Arabic or other languages would be an advantage.

We are expanding and seeking an experienced and high-performing Regional Sales Manager for our IDS product lines, including Ewon, Red Lion, N-tron, and Anybus. The candidate will report to the Commercial Director for the Middle East & Africa
HMS develops and markets products and solutions within Industrial Information and Communication Technology (Industrial ICT). Our products and solutions enable industrial equipment to communicate and share information with software and systems. Professionals in the automation market trust and deploy our products to succeed in their integration projects.
- Solving customer challenges by leveraging the Redlion, Ewon, Ntron, and Anybus product families (and possible future additions) with a primary focus on our direct and channel customers, including system integrators, OEMs, and end users within Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain
- This role requires the individual to be competent in industrial automation application engineering, IIoT applications, and technical sales
- Develop robust Distributor and approved SI network primarily in a defined territory
- Develop verticals of Manufacturing (F&B, Steel, Chemicals, etc.), Utilities (specifically District Cooling, Water/ Wastewater), and special focus on Oil & Gas
- The RSM is also responsible for managing, training, guiding, and maintaining their channel partner network. This includes potentially removing or adding a distributor partner to execute the territory strategy.
- The RSM should hold partners to a high standard of conduct and business practices, as they are instrumental in HMS increasing our customer base
- Creation, refinement, and execution of annual sales strategy for the assigned territory, ensuring achievement of individual and organizational goals and objectives. This strategy is submitted to your manager each year for review and feedback
- Achieving sales quotas and assigned strategic account objectives
- Generating technical sales proposals, contracts, PoCs along with a technical support engineer; Managing active customer accounts and identifying new opportunities within those accounts
- Working closely with IDS Marketing to ensure Brand Awareness and Lead Generation through Digital and Physical Platforms
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with customers to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs
- Maintaining records of customer communication and sales activity in our CRM and establishing internal communication systems
- Developing account management plans to grow our business within large accounts
- Maintaining a high degree of technical knowledge to allow in-depth technical presentations and discussions with customers and partners
- Ensuring End User Approvals in major O&G, Utilities, Manufacturing, and Petrochem sectors
- Min. diploma in an engineering-related discipline
- Min. of ten to fifteen years of business development & sales experience in a B2B context
- Working technical knowledge in industrial automation controls, industrial communication protocols, or industrial Ethernet and TCP/IP technologies, Discrete & Process Automation
- Sales Hunter and Startup Mindset
- Proficient English level (technical writing and speaking) with the ability to communicate clearly

Education And Experience Requirements

- Experience in executing Middle Eastern projects, brownfield experience and familiarity with Aramco standards and specifications is highly desirable.
- At least 10 years of related experience in Petrochemical, Energy Transition or Oil and Gas industry.
- Pre-FEED and FEED experiences in related types projects
Required Knowledge And Skills
- Extensive knowledge of applicable industry / regulatory codes and standards, and design
- Extensive knowledge of precedents in the discipline and of principles and practices of related disciplines.
- Good knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved.
- Knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, materials and software and methods of application for C&I discipline.
- Knowledge of control and safety systems, including the management of a Main Automation Contractor (MAC) and the BPCS, SIS, FGS and PLCs
- Knowledge of instrumentation covering both primary and final elements
- Experience of Safety Instrumented Functions, HAZOP and LOPA. Certification as a Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) or equivalent is desirable
- High standard of oral and written communication, and use of MSOffice applications.
