- Drawing projections from ready-made AutoCAD drawings.
- Modification of auto project files and fixing any errors.
- Converting images into editable manuscripts on AutoCAD and drawing facades and architectural buildings.
- Drawing floor plans and aesthetic views. Drawing architectural project plans and drawing details of mechanical parts Completing job reports.
- Using specialized computer software to create 3D models
- Creating detailed drawings of architectural features such as floors, walls, doors, windows, staircases, and railings
- Preparing 2D renderings of building interiors and exteriors, electrical schematics, plumbing diagrams, structural drawings, mechanical drawings, and other architectural drawings

Jacobs is construction supervision consultant for a multi-billion development mixed-use historic, culture and lifestyle destination. The project will be the Kingdom’s historic and cultural heart, proudly showcasing to the world Saudi Arabia’s 300 years of history through an engaging and inspiring set of heritage, hospitality, education, retail and dining experiences for residents and visitors. It aims to be developed as an urban, mixed-use development inspired by the principles of both new urbanisms ensuring its main anchors rooted in its historic culture and heritage. Ultimately, the destination will include museums, galleries, restaurants, retail experiences, public squares, hotels, multiple recreational spaces, residences, educational institutions and offices.

**Responsibilities**:
**Drafting and Design**:

- Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D software to create accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings, including plans, sections, and details.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

**Data Management**:

- Manage and organize CAD files, ensuring proper version control and file naming conventions.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive database of drawings and design files.

**Collaboration**:

- Work closely with engineering teams to incorporate design changes and updates into drawings.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, including surveyors and architects, to integrate their input into the overall project design.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
- Revise and modify drawings as required based on feedback from project team members.

**Documentation**:

- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including record drawings and as-built documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations as needed.

**Software Proficiency**:

- ** **Stay current with advancements in CAD technology, particularly Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Provide training and support to other team members as needed.

**Here’s what you’ll need**:
**Qualifications -**

Recent previous experience (within last 5 years) as a CAD Designer or CAD Draughtsman for major infrastructure projects that are complex in nature and are ideally located in the Saudi region.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a CAD Draughtsman in civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
