Our client is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management, and they are recruiting an Asset Manager to join the team located in Riyadh - KSA. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, supporting, maintaining, and updating the asset management system and procedures including implementing strategies, writing documentation and guidance, and maintaining a database to ensure the best overall life cycle costs to support the operations.

Key Tasks:
  1. Implement and articulate the strategy and plan required for asset management.
  2. Ensure the asset management information supports a whole life cycle approach enabling statutory compliance, sustainable operation, performance reporting (commercial and technical), reliability centred maintenance, root cause analysis, and building disposal.
  3. Produce, update, and own a set of documents to enable, manage, and govern the asset management process and life cycle.
  4. Own, operate and control systems for asset change management for both internal staff and contractors, ensuring systems for change revisions, additions, and omissions are captured, documented, and universally understood.
  5. Be the focal point for updating the comprehensive list and database of Head Office assets, ensuring changes in assets are captured and recorded accurately.
  6. Review asset changes with discipline engineers to ensure asset data is fully articulated and supports the most appropriate maintenance regimes that support life costing and best value approach.
  7. Develop, plan, update, and maintain a 10-year forward replacement plan, the Property Care Programme, maintaining a schedule of prioritised projects for building services, fabric, and infrastructure.
  8. Ensure condition surveys and other internal and external reports are planned and scheduled on a frequency agreed with relevant departmental specialists to support property care.
Person Specification: Essential Skills
  1. Degree educated in a relevant technical or engineering field.
  2. Chartered or demonstrably working towards chartered status in a relevant field, incorporated Engineer as a minimum.
  3. Member of a relevant professional institution such as the IAM, CIBSE, or IET.
  4. High level of numeracy and statistical analytical skills.
  5. Report writing and presentations.
  6. Project Management principles, MS Project and/or Primavera experience.
  7. Use of asset management and planning systems and databases.
  8. Whole life costing.
  9. Building surveying.
  10. Developing asset management solutions.
  11. Delivering programmes and outcomes across varying technical disciplines to deadline and budget knowledge.
  12. Understanding of asset or inventory management in FM, engineering, manufacturing, or building or demonstrably relevant discipline or field.
  13. Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and CAFM familiarity.
  14. Understanding of safety management systems and risk assessment techniques.

The Cisco Asset Managers work directly with stakeholders and collaborate with Cisco Customer Experience (CX) and Sales teams to deliver Hardware, Software and Service Coverage insights and enable a smooth assets lifecycle management to the end customer.

This role plays a key part in enabling Cisco's recurring revenue business by providing clean, accurate data. Asset managers are encouraged to understand customer's hardware and software inventory better than the customers themselves, thereby giving relevant insights, reducing risk, and providing operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Define customer's business structure and associated Cisco assets (HW and SW) that will be managed under the service scope.

· Combine Customer, Network and Cisco's view into an IB baseline designating the device quantity, type, location, service coverage and additional asset attributes.

· Perform/implement a discovery process on a lifecycle basis of all software and hardware assets purchased, deployed/installed across the network, and establish a validation process with the customer to agree on the ownership and use of the discovered assets.

· Provide insights to support customer reconciliation and validate Software and Service Enterprise Agreements Data (if applicable)

· Deliver useful insights/reports on embedded Software - OS Conformance - and ensure compliance to reduce device or network downtime due to out of date or non-suggested software versions.

· Coordinate and assist the customer with their "Smart Account" strategy to centrally organize licenses, devices, and specific license agreements based on business needs.

· Prepare reports, lead frequent client calls, participate in quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and conduct on-site visits (where required).

Eligibility & Qualifications

· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot charts, Pivot tables, Index, and Match functions.
