You as an Assembly Supervisor will be part of Hitachi Energy's High Voltage Business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be assembling GIS components and modules into complete bays and performing routine tests through a lean and flow production line aimed at achieving the highest quality, maximum cost savings, and shortest delivery time. You will actively contribute to improving manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities

1. Perform assembly, repair, and routine tests (Mechanical, 10KV, HV, functional & resistance measurements) of GIS bays (including components & modules) according to work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.
2. Fulfill work packages related to orders based on production data and instructions from assigned foremen.
3. Aim for optimal performance in quality, cost, and delivery time.
4. Self-check work results, complete checklists and protocols, and confirm accuracy.
5. Gather product improvement feedback from GIS LSC engineers.
6. Handle factory equipment and tools properly, maintain and calibrate equipment regularly.
7. Ensure quality control and escalate issues immediately.
8. Record deviations, support root cause analysis, and prepare quality/non-conformance reports.
9. Support teamwork, communicate effectively, and collaborate with internal stakeholders (assembly, testing, logistics, etc.).
10. Follow factory safety, quality, environment, recycling, and housekeeping guidelines.
11. Maintain a safe working environment and report irregularities.
12. Contribute to continuous improvement and Lean culture through feedback and ideas.
