AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
As a key member of the AWS Specialist Solutions Architecture team your work will include:
• Working closely with our product and field teams, you will help enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy Container based services on AWS infrastructure
• Design best in class Container infrastructure solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles.
• You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy container strategies.
• Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.
• You will also work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions.
• Thought Leadership - Evangelize and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer driven product improvement feedback.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of related subject matter experts.

In this role, you will immerse yourself in the dynamic world of cloud architecture, working closely with customers to design, scalable, and secure cloud modernization solutions. Your day will be filled with engaging challenges, from conducting technical deep-dives and workshops to presenting innovative solutions and proof of concept implementations to C-level executives’ presentations. You will be at the heart of AWS's mission to empower customers business with the best in cloud technology, ensuring they use scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient architectures by working with Solution Architects, account teams and other AWS services teams.

- Experience architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions in enterprise customers
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Associate's degree or above
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
- 3+ years of experience in designing architectures, implementation experience and workload migrations to the Cloud in migration and modernization services (Kubernetes, Container services)
