This position requires a highly experienced and well-qualified professional registered Architect with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from an accredited school of architecture. The incumbent shall have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Architectural design, of which 4 years shall have included direct responsibilities for the design of significant projects covering a wide variety of buildings and housing development. Familiarity with U.S., European, and Saudi Arabian Standards and Codes is required for this position.

1. The incumbent shall serve as Architect under the direct supervision of the Head of Branch. In this capacity, shall perform full designs of a wide variety of buildings at all stages of design.
2. The incumbent shall have the additional responsibility to perform technical review work as assigned. The incumbent shall be capable of preparing usable and functional floor layouts, furniture layouts, schedules, freehand perspective sketches, developing architectural motifs, and preparing detailed drawings and site layouts. This will include preparation of presentation documentation graphics and database for basic and alternative designs, as required.
3. The incumbent shall be thoroughly familiar with new architectural trends, materials on the market, and methods of construction.
4. The Architect is to give full consideration in the designs and technical review to constructability and maintainability, as well as economy of construction.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Review building plans and site design for aesthetics, environmental acceptability, compliance with codes and standards and accessibility requirements and develop new design as per the codes and standards and prepares plans and specifications where needed.

• Present project design to Client for review and make recommendations to meet their needs
• Develop cost estimates, and coordinate implementation of capital improvement projects and develop construction bid proposals
• Support the Client in commenting the Contractor's IFC architectural drawings
