The Department of Skills Development is seeking potential Saudi candidates holding a Master’s degree for research and teaching purposes.
Job ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will be expected to:
- Be available for professional duties for approximately 35-40 hours per week.
- Carry out teaching, research, academic advising, administrative duties, and any other academic duties assigned by the academic department.
- Adhere to any other job responsibilities imposed by the Ministry of Civil Service regulations.
Applicants must have:
- An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in the relevant field.
- A full-time Master’s degree with very good grades.
- Certificate equivalency if the degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom.

Job Description: Head of Vocational and Training Center
Position Overview:
The Head of Vocational and Training Center in Saudi Arabia is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the training center. This role ensures that vocational and technical education programs align with industry demands, regulatory requirements (TVTC, HRDF, etc.), and the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in vocational training, accreditation, curriculum development, business development, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Operations
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the training center, ensuring alignment with Saudi Arabia's economic diversification and workforce development goals .
- Ensure full compliance with TVTC (Technical and Vocational Training Corporation), HRDF (Human Resources Development Fund), and other regulatory authorities .
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including training programs, student services, and administrative functions .
- Manage budgets, resource allocation, and financial planning to ensure profitability and sustainability.
- Program Development & Accreditation
- Design, develop, and enhance vocational training programs to meet Saudi labor market needs .
- Ensure accreditation and certification compliance with national and international standards.
- Introduce cutting-edge teaching methodologies such as e-learning, blended learning, and hands-on technical training.
- Partner with Saudi companies and industry leaders to provide industry-driven training programs.
- Business Development & Industry Engagement
- Build partnerships with government agencies, corporations, and educational institutions to drive training initiatives.
- Develop new business opportunities, securing funding and support from HRDF and corporate sponsorships.
- Implement marketing, outreach, and recruitment strategies to increase student enrollment .
- Lead and mentor a team of trainers, administrative staff, and program coordinators.
- Ensure continuous faculty development through training and certification programs.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and innovative learning environment for students and staff.
- Quality Assurance & Student Success
- Establish and monitor quality assurance frameworks for training effectiveness.
- Track student performance, feedback, and career placement rates , making necessary program improvements.
- Develop career counseling, internships, and job placement programs in collaboration with employers.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Business Administration, Engineering, or a relevant field .
- 7+ years of experience in vocational education, training center management, or workforce development.
- Proven experience with TVTC accreditation and regulatory compliance in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong background in business development, government relations, and stakeholder engagement .
- Experience implementing technical, vocational, and soft skills training programs .
- Strategic planning and execution
- Leadership and team management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of modern training methodologies and digital learning platforms
- Experience in government funding (HRDF) and corporate partnerships
Preferred Experience:
- Prior work experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region .
- Understanding of Saudi Vision 2030 workforce development initiatives .
- Experience in industrial, technical, or professional skills training programs .
