Job Purpose
Candidate with in-depth knowledge of online process Gas Chromatography (GC) on various applications including Refinery and Petrochemicals. Ideal candidate shall have strong experience in GC column engineering, GC parameter programming and column material selection.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Application Development: Develop and optimize analytical methods and applications using Gas Chromatographs for various industries including Refineries, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Environmental, Food, and Life Sciences.
- Advanced Chromatography: capable of using innovative techniques in Chromatography to develop optimum solutions for least cycle time, baseline separations of components, flow techniques such as backflush and heartcut for precise measurements in ultra-low levels, flow and temperature programming, writing scripts and codes for complex GC calculations, etc.
- Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers and field personnel on GC, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.
- Maintain laboratory inventory, tools, utility gases, etc. and ensure safety and cleanliness to meet the high quality and safety standards of GC application laboratory.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions. Collaborate with R&D to provide feedback on product performance and enhancements.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain application notes, technical documents, and reports to support customer applications and product development.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in GC and GCMS technologies and contribute to the development of new applications and methodologies.
- Play a vital role in setting up GC lab interacting with peers and SMEs.
Qualification and Experience
- Min 3 years’ experience working on GC Application Engineering
- Previous experience on Laboratory GC applications development preferred.
- University degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
- Must have basic understanding of electronic and/or technical and engineering support tools required to perform required tasks. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important.

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic technical applications specialist to join our Centre of Excellence (COE) and play a key role in driving enablement, and adoption of EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE). This position will work closely with our sales teams and our EAE Solutions Specialist to develop applications for customers using EAE.

- Explain & demonstrate the technical advantages and disadvantages of the proposed application using EAE.
- Provide technical applications expertise and support to co-engineer applications for the customers using EAE.
- Lead the creation and development of differentiated and innovative solutions for the customers machines, projects and solutions using EAE.
- Engineer and execute applications and project conversion using EAE including competitor migration to EAE.
- Enrich the overall SE’s application knowledge and experience by creating and sharing application guides, CATS’s function blocks, white papers, and success stories.
- Identify and qualify the needs for new offer and/or functions development to better address application requirements, and work with relevant local and global departments to validate and create both repetitive (bundles/ standard functions) and custom-tailored offers using EAE.

- In depth understanding of the Automation market – both hardware and software including communication networks.
- How to interconnect different generations of automation offers i.e. new technology into old or existing control systems.
- Solid commercial acumen to support the sales team convince and convert the customer to EAE:
- To be the technical backbone of the sales team to understand the customers technical needs.
- To propose an optimum architecture according to customers’ needs providing a clear explanation relative to the solutions strengths and weaknesses, highlighting differentiating elements in a simple and convincing way.

Education, Experience and Skills: Some level of flexibility is allowed based on level of experience.

Requirements
- Master's Degree in a scientific, technical, or biomedical field. - Must have proven experience in a similar role within the Medical Devices Industry. IVD experience is a plus. - Proficient in CRM, Sales Software, and Microsoft Suite. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Willingness to travel as the job requires. - Applicants should be available for face-to-face interviews in the location mentioned above.

Description This position plays a key role in driving clinical adoption, training, and product support for the company's advanced diagnostic solutions within healthcare settings. The Application Support Specialist will contribute to the successful and timely support and deployment of the TrakCare product by providing application knowledge in the functional areas of product support, requirements scoping, field design documentation and change request testing. The Applications Support Specialist will act as an ''expert'' product resource for our partners.
As Application Support Specialist, you must creative, motivated, and energetic problem-solvers. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading organizations in healthcare. This position will also encourage and prepare you to take on other growth opportunities within the organization.
A mentor will help you identify and develop your application skills, professional, and personal skills for a successful career. Depending on your level of experience the training program can include: classroom learning, e-learning, projects, and external courses. Your mentor will also help you familiarize you with the InterSystems environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ready to work in the Support team.
- Provide immediate response to customer inquiries in accordance with service standards.
- Provide support to current installed based customers.
- Provide the link between our customers and the InterSystems Global Support organization.
- Liaise with customers in order to understand the work processes and requirements that are required to be addressed by the TrakCare application.
- Provide application support for the TrakCare Hospital Management System.

- Improve response time to customer inquiries by continuously improving communication, analytical, and learning skills.
- If required, work with our partners to identify potential changes within the parameters of the product.
- Participate in on-site support if required.
- Participate in the on call 24-hour roster service.
- General aptitude for solving problems and using technology to improve processes.
- Understanding and experience in product solutions support.
- Understanding and experience with Hospital Information Systems.
- Proven ability to think laterally and come up with innovative solutions for software product Support.
- Experience working in software not limited to a Developer, Quality Engineer and/or Solutions Architect.
- An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight time constraints.
- Proven ability to work through problems with different customer groups achieving positive outcomes.
- Understanding and experience with Hospital Information, Patient Administration (PAS), Billing, and Revenue cycle management Systems
- Understanding of the importance of Health Informatics standards, reporting requirements and legislative controls.
- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent) or business as announced in the vacancy.
