We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic technical applications specialist to join our Centre of Excellence (COE) and play a key role in driving enablement, and adoption of EcoStruxure Automation Expert (EAE). This position will work closely with our sales teams and our EAE Solutions Specialist to develop applications for customers using EAE.

This role requires deep technical expertise, and a strong ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders. This role is responsible to support country sales teams win more business on EAE and support customers through their entire project development cycle using EAE:

• Provide technical applications expertise and support to the sales team on automation & control system applications in order to help accelerate sales growth and increase opportunities conversation rate using EAE.
• Act as the technical subject matter expert at the customer to define and implement the best automation & control applications using EAE.
• Work with the customer to identify technical requirements/ constraints to adopt EAE and offer the customer solutions that will support the adoption of EAE on their projects/machines.
• Explain & demonstrate the technical advantages and disadvantages of the proposed application using EAE.
• Provide technical applications expertise and support to co-engineer applications for the customers using EAE.
• Lead the creation and development of differentiated and innovative solutions for the customers machines, projects and solutions using EAE.
• Engineer and execute applications and project conversion using EAE including competitor migration to EAE.
• Enrich the overall SE’s application knowledge and experience by creating and sharing application guides, CATS’s function blocks, white papers, and success stories.
• Identify and qualify the needs for new offer and/or functions development to better address application requirements, and work with relevant local and global departments to validate and create both repetitive (bundles/ standard functions) and custom-tailored offers using EAE.

The Ideal candidate

Self-motivated and driven with a “must win” mindset and a desire to be successful. Being able to work independently but also as part of a team in a matrix organization is essential to this role. Be able to influence and motivate individuals that do not report to you, to achieve shared KPI’s through a collaborative and synergistic approach. Must be an early adopter and bring a sense of technical intensity to drive sales growth in this role. While this is a technical role, the candidate must have commercial acumen and understand the significant role that technical teams play in the sales cycle to convince and win new business and customers.

• Industrial Automation technical expert with strong applications expertise and the ability to design, build and optimize applications using EAE, that fit the needs of customers (including channel partners such as Sis or POEMs) based on a broad technical knowledge.
• In depth understanding of the Automation market – both hardware and software including communication networks.
• How to interconnect different generations of automation offers i.e. new technology into old or existing control systems.
• Solid commercial acumen to support the sales team convince and convert the customer to EAE:
• To be the technical backbone of the sales team to understand the customers technical needs.
• To propose an optimum architecture according to customers’ needs providing a clear explanation relative to the solutions strengths and weaknesses, highlighting differentiating elements in a simple and convincing way.

Typical applications to but not limited to include: Hoisting, Pumping, Packaging, Material working, Manufacturing and assembly, Material Handling, HVAC&R, Utility management, Infrastructure applications, Transportations systems, C&SP would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Be the first line support to our sales team to win customers and projects using EAE.
• Provide application support to OEM, system integrators, and end users using EAE.
• Support customers on complex automation applications that involve EAE.
• Troubleshoot and assist customers as they develop and execute their own applications on EAE.
• Conduct design audits and application assessments for mission-critical automation projects.
• Support the sales team on all topics related to application design using EAE.
• Customer Engagement & Strategic Solutioning
• Work closely with key industrial customers and partners to understand their automation challenges and tailor EAE applications accordingly.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and customer roadmap discussions to drive adoption of EAE into the customers applications. Machines and plants.
• Support the customer on converting our competitor solutions to EAE by developing code and applications to meet their needs.
• Support the customer by using EAE to build solutions that fit their application needs
• Support business development teams by providing technical insights, applications demonstrations, and competitive differentiators.
• Technical Ownership & Best Practices Development
• Design and build application solutions to support customers using EAE.
• Support the creation of technical documentation, playbooks, and design guides using EAE.
• Conduct technical validation reviews for large-scale automation projects, ensuring alignment between commercial and technical readiness.
• Work with COC (Centre of Competence) and LOB (Lines of Business) to optimize customer applications and scalability using EAE-based solutions.
• Training, Enablement & Technical Advocacy
• Support the training department with onsite train needed.
• Create white papers, best practice guides, case studies, and knowledge-sharing to promote EAE.
• Represent Schneider Electric in industry forums, conferences, and open automation groups.
• Develop technical marketing content, including webinars, blog posts, and product demonstrations, to position Schneider Electric as an industry leader in open, software-defined automation using EAE.
• Engage with academic institutions and research organizations to drive awareness and adoption of EAE in industrial and educational environments.

• Personalize UVP/storytelling to customer use-case i.e., create technical demos to answer customer’s pain points and address their sub-segment requirements.

• Host application specific training (core EAE training itself is conducted by specific trainers).
• Apply design guidelines to ensure projects are executed correctly.
• Define code structure, objects, and CATs.
• Assess challenges, traps and gaps and work with the EAE development team to address.
• Application Solutions
• Draw, implement and test EAE solutions relative to customers’ applications.
• Present outcomes to customers in order to get their adoption by reducing risks.
• Develop specific CATs to take complexity away from customer
• Develop HW CATs in country/region.
• Verify the solutions performance in country.
• Validate the library as per customer user case/application.
• Project Execution and Support
• Support the customer and or System Integrator on the successful execution of any EAE project.
• Ensure customer satisfaction on projects – this includes commercial relationship on top of technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of the project.
• Feedback and documentation
• Document all processes and changes made on site and during customer engagement.
• Create Use cases and success stories from every project.
• Share knowledge and best practices.

Education, Experience and Skills: Some level of flexibility is allowed based on level of experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in either of the following:Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science IT programing, Code development
• Embedded Software Engineer background, ideally with strong IT focus
• Be well versed on IIOT and the convergence between IT and OT.
• Object oriented Programming, Windows and Linux development environment, Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm, Virtualization, Event driven methodology, C# programming for HMI integration.
• Networking experience in LAN, WAN, VLAN, Managed Switch, Routers, Communication protocols TCP/IP based Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT.
• Essential to this role, the candidate must be able to apply code development and design system/solution architecture that will fit into industrial applications on the factory floor and plant to control equipment and processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, etc.).
• Deep expertise in, PLC programming, SCADA/DCS, and industrial networking.
• Extensive experience in designing and deploying large-scale automation solutions.

Job Purpose

Candidate with in-depth knowledge of online process Gas Chromatography (GC) on various applications including Refinery and Petrochemicals. Ideal candidate shall have strong experience in GC column engineering, GC parameter programming and column material selection.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

1. Application Development: Develop and optimize analytical methods and applications using Gas Chromatographs for various industries including Refineries, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Environmental, Food, and Life Sciences.
2. Advanced Chromatography: capable of using innovative techniques in Chromatography to develop optimum solutions for least cycle time, baseline separations of components, flow techniques such as backflush and heartcut for precise measurements in ultra-low levels, flow and temperature programming, writing scripts and codes for complex GC calculations, etc.
3. Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to customers and field personnel on GC, troubleshooting, and resolving application issues.
4. Maintain laboratory inventory, tools, utility gases, etc. and ensure safety and cleanliness to meet the high quality and safety standards of GC application laboratory.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions. Collaborate with R&D to provide feedback on product performance and enhancements.
6. Documentation: Prepare and maintain application notes, technical documents, and reports to support customer applications and product development.
7. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in GC and GCMS technologies and contribute to the development of new applications and methodologies.
8. Play a vital role in setting up GC lab interacting with peers and SMEs.

Qualification and Experience

1. Min 3 years’ experience working on GC Application Engineering
2. Previous experience on Laboratory GC applications development preferred.
3. University degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
4. Must have basic understanding of electronic and/or technical and engineering support tools required to perform required tasks. Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities is important.

* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. * Candidate needs to be based in Saudi Arabia with local experience in clinical application specializing in imaging devices * Hands-on clinical experience and deep understanding of healthcare workflows. * Proven experience in training or education within the medical device or healthcare sector. * Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to simplify and convey complex clinical concepts to various audiences. * Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in collaborative environments. * Willingness to travel regularly across the TMEA region to support clinical engagements and training activities. * Fluency in both English and Arabic is required

The Application Support Specialist will contribute to the successful and timely support and deployment of the TrakCare product by providing application knowledge in the functional areas of product support, requirements scoping, field design documentation and change request testing. The Applications Support Specialist will act as an ''expert'' product resource for our partners.

As Application Support Specialist, you must creative, motivated, and energetic problem-solvers. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading organizations in healthcare. This position will also encourage and prepare you to take on other growth opportunities within the organization.

A mentor will help you identify and develop your application skills, professional, and personal skills for a successful career. Depending on your level of experience the training program can include: classroom learning, e-learning, projects, and external courses. Your mentor will also help you familiarize you with the InterSystems environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ready to work in the Support team.
• Provide immediate response to customer inquiries in accordance with service standards.
• Provide support to current installed based customers.
• Provide the link between our customers and the InterSystems Global Support organization.
• Liaise with customers in order to understand the work processes and requirements that are required to be addressed by the TrakCare application.
• Provide application support for the TrakCare Hospital Management System.
• Support the TrakCare application in a manner that will suit the business requirements of the customer and follow the methodologies and processes of InterSystems.
• Escalate Open (unresolved) problems in accordance with current policies and procedures.
• Conduct individual and group training, product demonstrations and workshops as required.
• Continuously improve customer satisfaction by soliciting customer suggestions for product and service improvements and then escalating such suggestions to management.
• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TrakCare.
• Improve response time to customer inquiries by continuously improving communication, analytical, and learning skills.
• If required, work with our partners to identify potential changes within the parameters of the product.
• Participate in on-site support if required.
• Participate in the on call 24-hour roster service.
  
  

Qualifications:

• General aptitude for solving problems and using technology to improve processes.
• Understanding and experience in product solutions support.
• Understanding and experience with Hospital Information Systems.
• Proven ability to think laterally and come up with innovative solutions for software product Support.
• Experience working in software not limited to a Developer, Quality Engineer and/or Solutions Architect.
• An ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and within tight time constraints.
• Proven ability to work through problems with different customer groups achieving positive outcomes.
• Understanding and experience with Hospital Information, Patient Administration (PAS), Billing, and Revenue cycle management Systems
• Understanding of the importance of Health Informatics standards, reporting requirements and legislative controls.
  
  

Education and Training:

• BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent) or business as announced in the vacancy.
