Job Description
- Monitor daily performance of all the plants and to ensure that all the parameters are within the specified limits. Recommend/follow-up acid cleaning of Desalination Plant as and when required.
- Carry out trouble shooting, in co-ordination with Operation staff in power and desalination.
- Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer and Chief chemist to improve the efficiency by doing any changes in operational activity with Operations Manager approval.
- Recommend/follow-up as and when required distillate stage sampling and to interpret the results, if there is doubts of tube leak.
- Carry out detailed inspection of plant during annual maintenance and follow-up the annual maintenance.
- Prepare monthly performance summary of plants.
- Ensure Environmental Aspect-Impact and Hazard Risk Assessment are carried out, controlled and updated
- Implement, monitor and report IMS objectives, Targets and programs
- Provide necessary resources for effective implementation and sustenance of IMS
- Report IMS performance to the management periodically
- Ensure Legal compliance with respect to their scope of activities
- Ensure identification of root cause for the identified non conformances/ deviations and to implement corrective actions/Preventive actions
- Identify the competency gap for their subordinate personnel and implement necessary actions.
- Carry out annual performance evaluation of reporting employees
- Responsible to ensure the compliance to legal requirements, contractual and organizational requirements
- Provide on-the-job training to new employees and evaluate their OJT Performance
- Identification, documentation and control of hazards in assigned work area
- Ensure aspects identified are monitored and operational controls are followed.
- Report deviations in Integrated Management System, identify root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Reporting of emergencies and incidents and near misses
- Effective resource utilization
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Performance Monitoring Engineer to support and enhance the operational health of a multi-technology (2G/4G/5G) E/// based Mobile Radio Access Network (RAN). The role focuses on ensuring network KPIs are met, quality metrics are generated in real-time, and performance degradations are quickly identified and addressed.
Key Responsibilities:
·Monitor and maintain the day-to-day performance of 2G/4G/5G RAN (PS and CS domains).
·Ensure all RAN nodes are within the agreed KPIs and SLAs.
·Generate RAN performance quality metrics in real-time.
·Analyze E/// RAN counters, understand KPI definitions, and troubleshoot KPI degradations.
·Utilize E/// Performance Management tools (e.g., ENIQ, UPM, SDM, BO) for data analysis and performance reporting.
·Conduct real-time monitoring of network KPIs (24/7) and escalate issues where thresholds are breached.
·Perform root cause analysis on RAN degradations and open trouble tickets using Remedy or similar systems.
·Work in a multi-vendor environment and adapt to different network elements and performance platforms.
·Understand and manage the end-to-end data flow from Network Elements (NEs) to OSS.
·Automate or support performance reports using tools like MS Excel (macros), MS Access, SQL, Sybase, etc.
Requirements:
·Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role, particularly in E/// RAN networks.
·Strong knowledge of E/// RAN KPIs, counters, and formulas.
·Hands-on experience with E/// Performance Management Tools: ENIQ, UPM, SDM, BO.
·Proficient in KPI monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
·Knowledge of SQL, Sybase, Excel Macros, and data handling tools.
·Ability to work under pressure and manage real-time network performance issues.
·Previous experience with multi-vendor RAN environments is a plus.
Preferred:
·Familiarity with Remedy or other ticketing systems.
·Background in mobile network operations, preferably in a Middle Eastern telecom environment.
