Job Purpose
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

Job Purpose

We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

Reporting to Manager Air Traffic Control Training the Job Holder is to conduct the Air Traffic Control Training within the Technical Studies Squadron of the KFAA for the delivery of Air Traffic Management and Post Graduate Air Traffic Management Training.
Job Accountabilities
- The Job Holder will assume responsibility for one or more of the following Air Traffic Controller Training Phases:
- ICAO 051 Induction – Air Traffic Control
- ICAO 052 Aerodrome Control
- ICAO 053 Non-Radar Approach Control
- ICAO 054 Radar Approach Control
- Ensure that the company not be put at risk legally; its reputation is not damaged, and the Company satisfies the customer’s needs per the LOA3 agreement.
- Apply Company procedures for Systems Approach to Training and Training Governance.
- Apply Company procedures for configuration control of curriculum and courseware, including preparing documentation recommendation and supporting data for curriculum or courseware changes as required.
- Review courseware and proposed development plans.
- Knowledge of the preparation of timetables, scheduling and instructor allocation using the TMIS and FlightPro Systems.
- Raise reports on the performance of individual cadets, classes, and simulations on departmental performance as required.
- Ensure effective use of the TMIS / LMS or Ispring systems to maintain accurate, up to date, comprehensive, orderly and easily accessible training records.
- Counsel Cadets on academic matters according to approved Technical Studies Squadron and Departmental procedures.
- Prepare and invigilate Tests, Assessments and Examination approved Technical Studies Squadron and Departmental procedures.
- Provide an environment that encourages independent learning and a military ethos.
- Provide management feedback to improve service performance, responsiveness and identify opportunities.
- Provide departmental personnel with professional guidance.
- Undertake all mandatory and developmental training as required by the Company.
- Adhere to acceptable standards of behaviour, dress and performance as defined in Company policy.
- Any other duties as deemed reasonable and appropriate by the Company.
Essential
- Hold the ICAO 051, ICAO 052, ICAO 053 and ICAO 054 Courses.
- Extensive experience as an Operational Air Traffic Controller with experience of military fast jet, transport and helicopter operations.
- Experience as an Air Traffic Control Instructor or OJTI and worked in the ATC training environment or Organisation.
- Computing and Keyword Skills Competency.
- Fluency in English to minimum of ICAO level four.
- Hold an Air Traffic Controllers Licence issued by an ICAO Contracting State with validated ratings in (ICAO 052), (ICAO 053) and (ICAO 054).
- Hold the ATC Instructor Course and have successfully completed an OJTI Course.
- Military background.
- Current Air Traffic Controller / Instructor.
- Hold the Rating of ICAO 055 (Area Control Centre).
- Experience as a Unit Training and / or Standards Training Officer.
- RSAF Air Traffic Controller endorsed and validated in the following Air
- AFSC 1523
- AFSC15270
- AFSC15290
- Hold an Air Traffic Controllers Examiner Licence.
- Hold an update certificate of Human Factor Course.
- Hold a Diploma certificate of Human Factor Facilitator Course.

Role Overview:
To assist in the real-time coordination of ground handling and passenger service activities at designated airport or marine terminals in line with TRSASC’s certified operations under GACAR Part 151. The coordinator, Airport, supports the Supervisor in executing safe, on-time, and
guest-focused services across all touchpoints, including boarding zones, baggage staging, check-in areas, and marine transfers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Embed The Red Sea Air Services Company Health and Safety culture.
- Must have full knowledge of the Emergency Response Plan by action and structure of the plan.
- Coordinate real-time guest flow at check-in, boarding, and transport handover points, both airside and landside.
- Monitor and communicate status of aircraft arrival/departure, terminal readiness, and baggage transfer activities.
- Escort guests to/from the aircraft or marine vessels, ensuring manifest validation and baggage match.
- Maintain readiness and cleanliness of check-in counters, signage, waiting lounges, and boarding zones.
- Assist with on-site troubleshooting of guest complaints, baggage discrepancies, or transport delays.
- Provide regular updates to the Supervisor – Airport Coordinator and escalate any disruptions promptly.
- Ensure uniform standards, PPE usage, and safety protocols are followed by all team members within designated zones.
- Act as a liaison with resort staff, dispatchers, marine logistics personnel, and ramp agents during operational windows.
- Support the implementation of guest communication procedures and pre-boarding briefings when required.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks including checklist completion, baggage documentation, and passenger log updates.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in guest movement coordination, from check-in through to boarding, with no manifest discrepancies.
- Conduct pre-shift zone inspections for boarding areas, signage, and guest waiting facilities; ensure all are operational before first flight.
- Maintain constant radio or system updates to the Supervisor and other departments; all updates must be timely and precise.
- Ensure guests are welcomed, briefed, and escorted as per SOP; provide personalized service, especially for VIP, PRM, or group travelers.
- Maintain full compliance with uniform and grooming standards at all times and ensure team appearance reflects TRSASC service expectations.
- Enforce airside/passenger safety zones and ensure 100% usage of PPE in accordance with ground handling and marine transport safety rules.
- Provide on-site assistance during operational delays; escalate any issues (baggage delay, weather-related changes) within 15 minutes of detection.
- Complete assigned logs (boarding lists, baggage transfer sheets, checklists) with 100% accuracy and handover to supervisor at end-of-shift.
- Assist in coordination with ramp, passenger services, and marine operations teams; act as the primary on-ground point of contact during movement windows.
- Follow all procedures outlined in the Ground Operations Manual with zero procedural violations during any operation.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation, marine, or hospitality operations in a guest-facing position.
- Good working knowledge of all Passenger Services functions and the airline industry.
- Excellent command of the English language. Arabic language will be an advantage.
- Capacity to remain very discreet and maintain confidentiality while handling a sensitive subject. Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
- A proven ability in problem-solving and decision-making experience
- Ability to convey clearly information and ideas.
- Comprehend and perform basic mathematical operations.
- Self-motivated. Must be willing to travel among outstations.

What Required Skills You'll Bring;
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in airport operations, project management, or stakeholder liaison roles, preferably with experience in large-scale infrastructure or construction projects at airports.
Proven experience working with airport operations teams and understanding of airport safety, security, and operational procedures.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards, including ICAO, FAA, or equivalent regional standards.
In-depth knowledge of airport operations, airfield management, terminal operations, and ground services
Strong understanding of aviation safety, security, and emergency response protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills, with experience managing complex project timelines and coordinating between multiple teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency with project management tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with airport-specific management systems.
Ability to negotiate, influence, and build consensus among various stakeholders.
Professional certifications in Aviation Management or Airport Operations (e.g., ACI, IATA).
Experience in large-scale construction projects or system integration projects within an airport environment.
Knowledge of sustainable airport technologies and practices.

This role is pivotal in managing operational efficiency, stakeholder relationships, and the successful execution of projects while maintaining the high standards of airport service, safety, and regulatory compliance.
**What You'll be Doing;**
+ Serve as the main liaison between airport operations and contractors, service providers, and external stakeholders.
+ Ensure effective communication and coordination to minimize disruptions to daily airport operations during construction or project phases.
+ Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects and operations align with airport schedules, safety protocols, and service standards.
+ Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including airlines, ground handling companies, government agencies, security, and other service providers.
+ Coordinate with external contractors to ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and with minimal impact on airport operations.
+ Act as a point of escalation for any operational challenges or concerns raised by internal or external stakeholders.
+ Assess and mitigate potential operational disruptions or delays caused by ongoing projects, construction, or maintenance activities.
+ Analyze operational procedures and work with the relevant teams to devise solutions for maintaining smooth airport operations.
+ Implement measures to minimize delays and improve efficiency, ensuring all operations continue as planned without affecting passenger services.
+ Collaborate with project managers to integrate operational considerations into the planning, scheduling, and execution of airport-related projects.
+ Review project plans and timelines to ensure compatibility with airport operations and ensure resources are available as needed for successful project execution.
+ Support project managers with the preparation of contingency plans to address any operational issues arising from ongoing works.
+ Ensure all airport operations comply with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
+ Coordinate with safety and security teams to monitor the operational impact of ongoing projects and ensure compliance with airport and aviation regulations.
+ Promote and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all stakeholders involved.
+ Track and report the status of operational activities, project milestones, and any issues affecting airport operations.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to airport operations, project timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.
+ Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, operational impact, and any risks or delays.
+ Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and improve service delivery within the airport.
+ Implement best practices for airport operations and ensure that teams are working efficiently to minimize disruption during construction and operational changes.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the airport's overall operational efficiency and passenger experience.
+ Develop and deliver training programs for airport staff to ensure they are aware of new processes, safety procedures, and operational changes.
+ Support the development of cross-departmental knowledge to ensure smooth collaboration between airport operations, project teams, and external contractors.
+ Mentor junior team members, helping them grow their understanding of airport operations and project management.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring;**
+ Bachelor's degree in Airport Management, Aviation Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in airport management or operations are a plus.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations, including at least 2-3 years in a management or liaison role
+ Experience working with external stakeholders, contractors, and service providers in an airport or aviation environment
+ Strong understanding of airport operations, including safety protocols, airside and landside operations, and regulatory requirements.
+ Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
+ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
+ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle operational challenges in a high-pressure environment
+ Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
+ Certification in airport operations or management (e.g., AAAE, IATA).
+ Experience with project management and construction in an airport or aviation setting.
+ Proficiency in project management software or tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
+ Knowledge of airport IT systems, operational software, and communication platforms.
