**Director Flight Operations**
**Basic Function**
The DFO is responsible to plan, direct, organize and manage the Company Flight Operations which includes operational safety, network and crew logistics, pilot management, flight technical services and airports services. The DFO will carry the responsibility of operational control and all safety aspects. The DFO must ensure maintaining the Companys mission of providing the safest, most reliable, and convenient air transportation for their passengers in accordance with relevant policies and procedures. Operationally he must have the knowledge and understanding of the regulations to efficiently manage the flight operations department.
**Appointment and Reporting Lines**
Qualification/Experience:
- The Director of Flight Operations shall:
- Hold or have held an airline transport pilot certificate (airplane);
- Have experience as PIC in an aircraft of a similar size or complexity as the aircraft used in JASA’s operation; and
- Have at least three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience in a position that exercised operational control over any operations conducted under GACAR Part 121 or 125 or be in possession of a respective exemption from GACA.
- Be able to work well in an international and interdisciplinary team
- Have a proactive attitude and willingness to actively represent Jet Aviations interests with external organizations
Have a service-oriented attitude towards the customers of Jet Aviation

Role Overview:
To assist in the real-time coordination of ground handling and passenger service activities at designated airport or marine terminals in line with TRSASC’s certified operations under GACAR Part 151. The coordinator, Airport, supports the Supervisor in executing safe, on-time, and
guest-focused services across all touchpoints, including boarding zones, baggage staging, check-in areas, and marine transfers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Embed The Red Sea Air Services Company Health and Safety culture.
- Must have full knowledge of the Emergency Response Plan by action and structure of the plan.
- Coordinate real-time guest flow at check-in, boarding, and transport handover points, both airside and landside.
- Monitor and communicate status of aircraft arrival/departure, terminal readiness, and baggage transfer activities.
- Escort guests to/from the aircraft or marine vessels, ensuring manifest validation and baggage match.
- Maintain readiness and cleanliness of check-in counters, signage, waiting lounges, and boarding zones.
- Assist with on-site troubleshooting of guest complaints, baggage discrepancies, or transport delays.
- Provide regular updates to the Supervisor – Airport Coordinator and escalate any disruptions promptly.
- Ensure uniform standards, PPE usage, and safety protocols are followed by all team members within designated zones.
- Act as a liaison with resort staff, dispatchers, marine logistics personnel, and ramp agents during operational windows.
- Support the implementation of guest communication procedures and pre-boarding briefings when required.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks including checklist completion, baggage documentation, and passenger log updates.
- Ensure 100% accuracy in guest movement coordination, from check-in through to boarding, with no manifest discrepancies.
- Conduct pre-shift zone inspections for boarding areas, signage, and guest waiting facilities; ensure all are operational before first flight.
- Maintain constant radio or system updates to the Supervisor and other departments; all updates must be timely and precise.
- Ensure guests are welcomed, briefed, and escorted as per SOP; provide personalized service, especially for VIP, PRM, or group travelers.

- Enforce airside/passenger safety zones and ensure 100% usage of PPE in accordance with ground handling and marine transport safety rules.
- Provide on-site assistance during operational delays; escalate any issues (baggage delay, weather-related changes) within 15 minutes of detection.
- Complete assigned logs (boarding lists, baggage transfer sheets, checklists) with 100% accuracy and handover to supervisor at end-of-shift.
- Assist in coordination with ramp, passenger services, and marine operations teams; act as the primary on-ground point of contact during movement windows.
- Follow all procedures outlined in the Ground Operations Manual with zero procedural violations during any operation.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aviation, marine, or hospitality operations in a guest-facing position.
- Good working knowledge of all Passenger Services functions and the airline industry.
- Excellent command of the English language. Arabic language will be an advantage.
- Capacity to remain very discreet and maintain confidentiality while handling a sensitive subject. Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
- A proven ability in problem-solving and decision-making experience
- Ability to convey clearly information and ideas.
- Comprehend and perform basic mathematical operations.
- Self-motivated. Must be willing to travel among outstations.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring;**

**What You'll be Doing;**
+ Serve as the main liaison between airport operations and contractors, service providers, and external stakeholders.
+ Ensure effective communication and coordination to minimize disruptions to daily airport operations during construction or project phases.

+ Collaborate with project managers to integrate operational considerations into the planning, scheduling, and execution of airport-related projects.
+ Review project plans and timelines to ensure compatibility with airport operations and ensure resources are available as needed for successful project execution.
+ Support project managers with the preparation of contingency plans to address any operational issues arising from ongoing works.
+ Ensure all airport operations comply with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
+ Coordinate with safety and security teams to monitor the operational impact of ongoing projects and ensure compliance with airport and aviation regulations.
+ Promote and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all stakeholders involved.
+ Track and report the status of operational activities, project milestones, and any issues affecting airport operations.
+ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to airport operations, project timelines, and stakeholder satisfaction.
+ Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, operational impact, and any risks or delays.
+ Identify opportunities to streamline operational processes and improve service delivery within the airport.
+ Implement best practices for airport operations and ensure that teams are working efficiently to minimize disruption during construction and operational changes.
+ Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the airport's overall operational efficiency and passenger experience.
+ Develop and deliver training programs for airport staff to ensure they are aware of new processes, safety procedures, and operational changes.
+ Support the development of cross-departmental knowledge to ensure smooth collaboration between airport operations, project teams, and external contractors.
+ Mentor junior team members, helping them grow their understanding of airport operations and project management.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring;**
+ Bachelor's degree in Airport Management, Aviation Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced certifications in airport management or operations are a plus.
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport operations, including at least 2-3 years in a management or liaison role
+ Experience working with external stakeholders, contractors, and service providers in an airport or aviation environment
+ Strong understanding of airport operations, including safety protocols, airside and landside operations, and regulatory requirements.
+ Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
+ Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously
+ Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle operational challenges in a high-pressure environment
+ Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
+ Certification in airport operations or management (e.g., AAAE, IATA).
+ Experience with project management and construction in an airport or aviation setting.
+ Proficiency in project management software or tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
+ Knowledge of airport IT systems, operational software, and communication platforms.

JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Manager of Airport Mobility Operations will oversee all transport services related to the arrival and departure of guests, employees, and stakeholders to and from airports served by the AMAALA project. This role ensures smooth, safe, and efficient transportation during high-traffic periods, contributing to a seamless guest experience. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and monitoring transport schedules, managing service providers, and overseeing the transport team. The role also involves proactively identifying and implementing improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. The jobholder is responsible for planning and providing safe, reliable transportation services to all guests and employees/stakeholders to ensure safe journeys with minimal delays. Additionally, the role requires constant management of fleet maintenance in collaboration with the Maintenance team, ensuring effective operation and a positive guest experience through fleet upkeep.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and monitor airport transport operations.
- Oversee daily transportation services between airport terminals and Triple Bay / AMAALA Staff Village.
- Monitor schedules for arrivals and departures to prevent gaps or delays.
- Ensure transport services meet safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction standards.
- Coordinate service operations and address any non-performance issues promptly.
- Lead a team of transport coordinators, drivers, and support staff, managing scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
- Act as the primary contact for transport-related inquiries and complaints, responding promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction.
- Review and analyze transport operations to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost-effectiveness, implementing system improvements.

Description/Tasks:
Assigned duties and responsibilities of the Director of Flight Operations are:
- Support Jet Aviation in establishing a GACA approved flight operation under GACAR Part 125
- Take part in audits/inspections conducted by GACA or other authorities and represent the interests of Jet Aviation
- Take part in trainings at Jet Aviation in Zurich, Switzerland as required
- Establish and maintain liaison with the GACA and other regulatory agencies.
- Formulate policies and procedures necessary to maintain the highest level of safety in all flight and ground operations.
- Maintain familiarity and ensure compliance with the contents of the GOM, Operations Specifications, GACA regulations and other state and local regulations that may pertain to GACAR Part 125 operations.
- Ensure the safe and efficient conduct of GACAR Part 125 operations.
- Issue GACA bulletins and JASA operations bulletins necessary to further safety, security and/or efficient flight operations.
- Issue crew and staff bulletins to notify change in equipment and operating procedures, including each known change in the use of navigation aids, airports, air traffic control procedures and regulations, and local airport traffic control rules.
- Administer and supervise crew member training in accordance with GACAR Part 125.
- Ensure the maintenance of crew member training records in accordance with GACAR Part 125.
Establish an approved training program in accordance with GACAR Part 125, Subpart L
- Ensure scheduling of aircraft and crew members in accordance with GACAR Part 125 and the GOM.
- Establish a system to monitor crew member training requirements, airman and medical certification, currency requirements of GACAR Part 61 and GACAR Part 125, and the flight and duty limits of the GOM.
- Notify the GACA Safety office and GACA Aviation Standards of any aircraft accidents or incidents.
- Approve the employment of air carrier crew member personnel.
Assign duties and responsibilities and supervise the activities of the Chief Pilot and Chief IFS.
Qualification/Experience:
