JOB SUMMARY:
The Aircraft Technician Junior participates on the helicopter flight line as an assistant to the senior technicians. He follows all procedures in accordance with the OEM documentation:
Flight line activities (before first flight, turn-around, after last flight)
Aircrafts towing and parking
Fuel replenishment
Follow scheduled maintenance under supervision
OEM documentation familiarization
LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations
Work as part of a team with specific duties as assigned, within a customer environment
Ensure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis by OJT Supervisor as required by Company procedures
Participate in the promotion of a working in safe environment
Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of Airbus

**Basic Qualifications**:
- EASA Part-66, FAA A&P, or GACA B1 licensed aircraft holder.
- Holds a theoretical and practical specialized structural aircraft training certificate. This includes coverage of both metal and composite materials, encompassing assessments, repairs, and modifications.
**b. Experience**:
- Minimum of five (5) years performing tasks directly related to SRM, ADs, SBs, TDs, RDASs as a structural specialist.
- Minimum of two (2) years of documented certifying experience in A330 aircraft maintenance in either base and/or line maintenance environments.
- Regency of experience: Must be able to provide documented evidence of a minimum of six (6) months of aircraft maintenance experience within the last two (2) years specifically on A330.
**c. Knowledge and Skills**
- Negotiation level proficiency in the English language (Technical & Aeronautical).
- Knowledge and proficiency in aligning, adjusting, and using applicable electronic measuring equipment, support equipment, and relevant test equipment.

JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.
The purpose of this role is to perform scheduled inspections, maintenance and unscheduled rectification of Aircraft Equipment and associated components, Bay support, and activities for PC9 Flight Line and Intermediate Maintenance operations. You will achieve and maintain Production Inspections signatory capability for authorised specific trade certifications, and obtain and maintain certifications to support specialty and aircraft maintenance functions, achieving specialty cross utilisation training (CUT) qualifications.
You will also provide On the Job Training (OJT) function and Production Inspections. Troubleshooting, inspections, removals - installations, repairs, and operates PC9 Flight Line and Intermediate Maintenance operations and associated support and test equipment.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
- To provide operationally capable aircraft in support of KFAA pilot training programmes through carrying out aircraft maintenance tasks: Flight Line Servicing/tasks, scheduled servicing, fault troubleshooting/rectification, modifications, inspections/evaluations of aircraft systems/components and other related aircraft systems within the AMT specialty at the Intermediate/Organisational level maintenance for training aircraft.
- To provide technical specialty support in the evaluation, interpretation, determinations of requisite maintenance faults & corrective actions, performance and operational status of specialty specific aircraft systems, components, testing and use of support equipment.
- Be able to achieve and maintain Production Inspections signatory capability for authorised specific trade certifications.
- Able to acquire user expertise and become conversant with the RSAF aircraft data management and tracking computer system – AUTO LOG, MIRO Gold.
- Able to understand and comply with the RSAF Safety and Foreign Object Programme.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
- Qualifications: National civilian/military equivalent recognised aircraft maintenance traineeship/apprenticeship.
- Relevant type training (‘Q’ Course) and equipment specific training if required.
- Have extensive post qualification practical maintenance experience within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training OR extensive experience on same aircraft type OR successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/ TSNTTP).
- Demonstrate knowledge / understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
- Understanding and application of human factors, error management, health & safety and proactive hazard analysis, appropriate to the role.

LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations
Work as part of a team, specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet, within a customer environment
Undertake individually or as part of a team, aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures
Check every time before to start any maintenance activity tools/GSE's for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct use
Check every time before starting any maintenance activity the components and parts for conditions (damages, leaks etc.) and that the applicability of the documentation is correct
Determine and perform maintenance requirements for parts, clearances, tolerance, fuel and hydraulic leaks and corrosion damage
Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints and technical publication
Determine repair procedures necessary to correct defective equipment
Solve maintenance problems, achieves proper operating deficiency of components such as rotor heads, engine and engine modules
Diagnose reoccurring malfunctions and recommend corrective action by initiation or material deficiency reports
Perform repair of components (engine, blades, dynamic component)
Ensure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis
Ensure the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials
Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of the Airbus
Evaluate performance of assigned customer's personnel
Conduct on-the-job training activity
Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals
Train personnel in all safety directives and FOD procedures
