We are currently looking for a talented Proxy Product Owner with experience to join our team in Saudi Arabia !
The Proxy Product Owner (PPO) works within the Squad to represent the business Product Owner, ensuring alignment between development teams and business stakeholders. They play a critical role in refining the product vision, translating business requirements into actionable work, and facilitating agile processes within the team. In addition to managing current delivery, the PPO is involved in discovery and planning for future cycles, ensuring continuous alignment between product roadmaps and business objectives.
Role Card & Responsibilities :
Collaborate with the Business Product Owner:
- Act as a key liaison between the mission team and the business Product Owner, ensuring clear communication of business goals and priorities.
- Translate high-level business objectives into detailed user stories and deliverables that the development team can execute.
Backlog Refinement and Prioritization:
- Assist the Product Owner in refining the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with both current and future business needs.
- Regularly prioritize and update backlog items based on feedback and changes in business objectives.
Acceptance of Outputs:
- Review and accept/reject completed work based on predefined acceptance criteria and the agreed-upon definition of done.
- Ensure that the product increments delivered at the end of each sprint meet the quality standards and align with the business objectives.
Discovery
- Collaborate with the business Product Owner and stakeholders to define and scope potential new features, opportunities, and improvements for the next cycle.
- Lead discovery workshops with key stakeholders & UX designers or BI experts if needed to gather insights on user feedback, upcoming features, and evolving business requirements.
- Document findings and help prepare the backlog for the next cycle by translating insights into epics, user stories, and potential technical requirements.
- Continuously engage with the business and technical teams to validate feasibility and ensure that the discovery process aligns with both the product roadmap and technical capabilities.
