BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The purpose of this role is carrying out mechanical maintenance, repairs and modifications for Tornado on and off aircraft. You may also be required to provide support to RSAF away from TSS.

• Performs major and minor mechanical maintenance, repairs, modifications and TCTO’s for Tornado on and off aircraft.
• Is responsible for the quality and completeness of the work he carries out, or signs for as having been carried out, on an aircraft or aircraft component in accordance with the approved data.
• Works within the requirements of the TSS Quality Management System, Safety Management System and RSAF Technical Orders.
• Completes Maintenance paperwork forms, appropriate aircraft forms, records and maintenance documentation both hard and electronic copies.
• Ensures maximum effort is made to safeguard the TSS programme timescales in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner.
• Highlights to their immediate supervisor areas of inexperience or training requirements, for themselves and others.
• Provides on-the-job and theory training for trainees.
• Deputises, if required, for the aircraft supervisor.

• Have extensive proven experience within operational flying aircraft environment supported by formal recorded workplace applied related training OR substantial proven experience on Tornado aircraft OR successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/TSNTTP)
• Current authorisations for aircraft maintenance.
• Completion of Tornado Aircraft maintenance course.
• Working knowledge of Q-pulse, GOLD and an understanding of M&CA processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
• Hold a current driving licence.
• Have a sound understanding of the RSAF 4-1-7166 series and supporting technical publications applicable to their work area. An understanding of the RSAF Operation and working practices.

• Knowledge of relevant parts of the MOE and procedures.
• Ability to confirm full accomplishment of AGE maintenance tasks.
• Use, control, be familiar with required tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities

Working as part of the Maintenance team, the duties will include ensuring the satisfactory performance, on-time delivery, and adherence to cost and quality standards for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in the MRTT fleet within the RSAF environment. The work should be completed in a timely fashion, meeting the delivery, quality, and safety requirements.

• Aircraft Maintenance Operations: Undertaking daily preventive, corrective, servicing, and routine maintenance works either individually or as part of a team. This includes all tasks required to release the aircraft for flight.
• B2 – Technician Role: As a B2 – Technician, responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, operating, repairing, troubleshooting, and servicing the Airframe and Engines to ensure satisfactory performance.
• Assigned Duties: Performing duties as assigned by the Team/Shift Leader, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery, quality, and safety requirements of the ADSAS Maintenance Organization.
• Documentation Compliance: Ensuring that all work performed is accurately recorded on the appropriate paperwork or documents, with the proper signatures as required by Airbus MOE procedures.
• Inventory Control: Ensuring the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Adhering to all company, regulatory, and Health and Safety procedures, and actively participating in the promotion of a safe working environment.

Basic Qualifications:

• EASA Part-66, FAA A&P, or GACA B2 licensed aircraft holder. Completed Level 3 A330 with GE-CF6-80E Type Training Course from an approved Part 147.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years performing tasks directly related to AMM, TSM, IPC, ESPM, Wiring Diagrams, Standard practice manuals, ADs, SBs, TDs, RDASs, etc. as a B2 specialist.
• Minimum of two (2) years of documented certifying experience in A330 aircraft maintenance in either base and/or line maintenance environments.
• Recency of experience: Must be able to provide documented evidence of a minimum of six (6) months of air-craft maintenance experience within the last two (2) years, specifically on A330, to be verified and certified by our Quality Department.

Knowledge and Skills

• Negotiation level proficiency in the English language (Technical & Aeronautical).
• Knowledge and proficiency in aligning, adjusting, and using applicable electronic measuring equipment, sup-port equipment, and relevant test equipment.

JOB SUMMARY: *
The Aircraft Engine Technician will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance to achieve the excellent fleet availability with highest quality and safety standards.
