The Sales Representative is responsible for ensuring that customer needs and expectations are met throughout the purchasing process, efficiently and effectively.
This role encompasses the management of consignment stock, executing store visits, maintaining strong relationships with store category managers, and ensuring compliance with visibility and availability standards. The Sales Representative will also manage stock levels of the store, achieve sales targets, and oversee collection follow-ups to optimize overall performance.
Key Accountabilities- Serve customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
- Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors in compliance with the agreed route plan.
- Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
- Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
