Responsibilities

The VMware Engineer will support Barrow Wise's project and perform the following duties:

  • Design and validate the secure Landing Zone architecture for NIST 800-53v5 compliance.
  • Lead technical workshops and develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
  • Oversee integration of VMware vSphere, NSX-T, Aria Suite, and VDI components.
  • Support migration planning from interim (Phase 1) to production environments (Phase 2).
  • Serve as the technical liaison to KAUST stakeholders, CyberArk team, and integration partners.
  • Deploy and harden ESXi hosts per CIS/STIG guidelines.
  • Install, configure, and manage vSphere, vCenter, NSX-T, and vLCM.
  • Perform Phase 1 build on legacy Dell servers and Phase 2 deployment on new infrastructure.
  • Ensure HA, vMotion, and performance tuning across clusters.
  • Assist with compliance validation and automated baselining tasks.
  • Work onsite in Thuwal, Saudi Arabia
