Postdoctoral Researcher - RF/mmWave Integrated Circuits The Integrated Telecommunications and Sensing Systems (ITASS) Lab at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in the field of RF/mmWave Integrated Circuits to contribute to pioneering research in wireless communications and sensing systems. The successful candidate will participate in the design, prototyping, and experimental validation of integrated circuits for phased-array transceivers, operating in the 60-140 GHz range. These systems target advanced applications such as 6G wireless networks, high-resolution radar, and joint communication and sensing (JCAS). You will join a multidisciplinary and well-funded research environment with full access to world-class infrastructure, including advanced EDA tools, cleanroom nanofabrication, RF/mmWave test labs, and multi-project wafer (MPW) tapeouts. The position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in RFIC design who are motivated to publish in top-tier IEEE conferences and journals (ISSCC, RFIC, IMS, JSSC, TMTT) and contribute to next-generation wireless and sensing technologies. Skills/Qualifications PhD in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field with a focus on RFIC/mmWave integrated circuit design. Strong experience in designing RF/mmWave circuits such as LNAs, mixers, PAs, VCOs, or phased-array front-ends. Proficiency in EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, ADS) and EM simulation tools ( HFSS, EMX, etc.). Hands-on experience with full custom IC tapeout in CMOS or SiGe technologies. - 8-10 years' experience working in the Environmental Consulting Field.
- Work experience in the Middle East will be advantageous.

A field Engineer for subsea cable installation is responsible for overseeing the execution of subsea cable installation, projects and (de)mobilizing cable equipment and systems on maritime facilities. Function description
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols to minimize risks to personnel and equipment. Conduct regular safety checks.
- Communication: Being able to clearly communicate at all levels with our clients as well as the office and deck crews.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical support to offshore personnel, guiding them through problems and solutions for various equipment issues.
- Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation of subsea cables, (de)mobilization of offshore equipment and work with technicians to ensure maintenance is conducted.
- Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during project execution, collaborating with the onshore engineering team as necessary and perform ad-hoc engineering analyses, to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of offshore activities, equipment specifications, as-built drawings, work procedures, change management and daily project reports.
- Teamwork: Working closely with on- and offshore teams, other engineers, and project managers to coordinate and execute the activities effectively.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with relevant industry regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
Requirements
Note : Due to project location and logistical requirements, candidates must hold EU or UK nationality.
Experience:
- Demonstrable cable lay project experience in position of Field Engineer is a must.
- Offshore umbilical/cable installation.
- Basic knowledge of software like AutoCAD or similar tools used for design and simulation purposes.
- Familiarity with cable lay equipment design, installation, and commissioning procedures.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Offshore Engineering / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or extensive cable lay engineering experience.
Certifications:
- Full GWO (BOSIET /FOET is accepted as alternative)
- NOGEPA Medical (or equivalent like - OGUK, STCW)
- Seaman's book
Rotation/Duration:
- 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off - 12 hours per day.
- 3 rotations.

The Environmental Advisor is responsible for the direct management of Project HSE (specific to the Environmental aspects) delivery. Functionally reporting to the Middle East Business Unit HSSE Manager and to the Project HSSE Manager (and Project Managers) when allocated to Projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a positive HSE culture and behaviour across Subsea7 and particularly within their sphere of influence.
- Champion the Subsea7 Critical Safety Behaviours Programme, setting the tone and leading by example.
- Ensure compliance with all HSSE policies, process and procedures.
- Responsible for the efficient, timely, accurate and cost-effective management and delivery of the function's activities within the designated area of responsibility.
- Provides leadership and technical assistance to all the Environmental Advisors (and HSE team members).
- Responsible for ISO14001 certification and supporting ISO 45001 certification accordingly.
- Prepares all the required Environmental Plans, recommend performance metrics; responsible for the execution and delivery of the plan.
- Delivers environmental training courses to Company personnel.
- Prepares, produces, maintains and/or reviews Company environmental documentation.
- Liaises with external regulatory authorities, as required.
- Ensures Company's operational activities do not contravene applicable environmental legislation or consent limits imposed by the regulatory authorities.
- Interprets new environmental legislation, standards, codes and regulations and inform the Company of any potential impact on their operational activities.
- Ensure HSE capitalises from lessons learned and is performed in accordance with best practice, striving to mitigate risk, promoting safety and integrity consistently.
- Develop the local HSE Function through clearly understood roles, responsibilities and performance objectives, regular feedback and continuing professional training.
- Works closely with Middle East Business Unit HSSE Manager to ensure consistent delivery of HSE across Projects.
What experience would we like you to have?
- Degree / Academic qualification in an environmentally related discipline
- Membership of a recognised HSE / Environmental professional body (e.g. IEMA, IOSH, IIRSM, CSA or equivalent).
- Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level working within the environmental sector of the oil and gas industry involved in all the workflow processes from tender / bids to Project execution (EPCI) until completion.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project HSE position with strong knowledge in HSE Management System (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), Project HSE Management, Risk Assessment Principles, Incident Investigation (E.g. TapRoot), Emergency Response Management, Behaviour Based Safety, Environmental Risk Management and all other HSE Subject Matters.
- Ideally possesses professional qualification(s) - Minimum NEBOSH Professional Certificate or equivalent.
- Relevant previous experience at an appropriate level in the subsea or offshore environment, with considerable experience in one of the HSE disciplines
- Experience in Managing Project's within Middle East or similar Project profile (I.e. Saudi Aramco).
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record within Project HSE delivery.
- Candidate shall provide previous Client approvals, if available.
- Candidate shall be made aware that they are subject to interview and assessment by Client representatives.
- Candidate shall provide evidence that they are no longer engaged from their previous Project assignment (E.g. Demobilization Clearance from Saudi Aramco). Note: This requirement is specific to candidate with Saudi Aramco experience).
