About the Role


We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineering Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical components, systems, and products through rigorous inspection and testing processes.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
  • Perform dimensional measurements using precision tools and metrology equipment
  • Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations
  • Identify and document non-conformities, defects, or quality issues
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality
  • Develop and implement inspection procedures and quality control processes
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering inspection
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection efficiency and effectiveness

What do we need from you


  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering inspection, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques and quality control processes
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in CAD software and metrology equipment

Working as part of a single LINE organization to be accountable for the successful delivery of the Mechanical Engineering from a Design and Construction strategy and systems perspective of THE LINE region.

THE LINE region contains a variety of projects in a 9,500km2 land area, including the initial Hidden Marina Mirror Line phase 1 modules, the related Hidden Marina Bay, the Landscapes of THE LINE, three ‘special projects’ and the NEOM International Airport (NIA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successful delivery of the Mechanical Engineering Strategy, Design and Construction scope for THE LINE in a manner that supports the successful delivery of the project goals in terms of budget, schedule, quality and sustainability. Being part of the team accountable for delivering the multi-disciplinary engineering for THE LINE region.
  • Leading a team of supporting staff to provide support to the LINE Design Project Engineering Management teams for the regional assets as well as oversight of what LINE Projects are procuring / managing. Working with THE LINE Design in setting Mechanical Engineering strategies.
  • Overall accountability for the success delivery of the Mechanical Engineering systems in the LINE regional assets (i.e. irrespective of how that work is delivered)

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on facilities management and hard services.
  • 5+ years in a leadership position .
  • Chartered Mechanical Engineer Credential or Recognized industry membership.
  • International experience including prior experience within MENA.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and energy management systems.
  • Experience in managing mechanical engineering projects from conception through implementation.
  • Proficient in relevant mechanical design software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing mechanical system challenges.
  • Knowledge of local codes, regulations, and industry standards related to mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in the leisure or entertainment sectors is preferred.
