Responsible for managing a large enterprise / Govt sector in KSA.
Day to day management of the team by handling escalations.
Defining and enforcing the procedures and policies to ensure 100% uptime.
Helping with the overall network architecture and vendor management.
Performing periodic network audits and deploying the industry best practices.
Responsible for making Incident reports, Root cause analysis and sharing with the customer.
Responsible for reviewing the changes and active participation in CAB discussions.
Responsible for maintaining documentation, diagram, Incident Reports, Root Cause Analysis etc.
At least 6 years of experience in managing large distributed networks.
Experience in running large enterprise networks on a 24-7 basis.
JNCIE SEC or JNCIE MT accreditation is Mandatory, and deep knowledge of Juniper networking products like SSG, ISG, STRM, SSL VPN Gateway, M10i, J Series and EX series switches etc.
Deep understanding of OSPF and BGP protocols’ operation principle, switching technologies etc.
Knowledge of IP network design, WAN and LAN networking (MSTP and RSTP knowledge is essential) and multi service CoPP, QoS installations.
Experience in Juniper Security / Firewalls, Load balancers like F5 LTM is a plus.
Must have experience in managing distributed teams is an added advantage.
Experience in Juniper M/J/EX series is needed.
Experience in managing customer is a plus.
Experience in vendor management is a plus.
Comfortable to work under pressure environment.
ITIL v3 Foundation certification is mandatory.

Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Level 3 Network Operations Engineer is a senior technical authority responsible for overseeing the stability, performance, and optimization of the organization’s enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in routing and switching technologies across LAN, SD-WAN, Internet, DMZ, B2B, and ACI Data Center environments. This engineer is expected to handle complex incidents, lead root cause analysis, and guide architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Network Infrastructure Oversight: Manage and optimize routing, switching, and interconnectivity across LAN, WAN, DMZ, B2B, and cloud environments. Ensure availability, performance, and security of network services supporting critical business applications
- Advanced Troubleshooting: resolve complex technical issues spanning Layer 1–4. Lead root cause analysis and long-term corrective action planning
- Design & Implementation: Participate in network design reviews and implement enterprise-grade network infrastructure (ACI, SD-WAN, etc.). Evaluate and integrate new networking technologies to improve resilience and performance
- Network Change Management: Execute and oversee network configuration changes, migrations, and upgrades in compliance with change control policies. Ensure minimal downtime and risk to production systems
- Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor network performance using tools like SNMP, NetFlow, and telemetry. Analyze trends and implement tuning strategies to enhance throughput and reduce latency
- Documentation & Standards: Maintain up-to-date documentation of network diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures. Ensure network practices align with internal standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams on end-to-end service delivery. Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to Level 2 engineers and junior staff
- Expert-level knowledge in routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP, VTP), and IP addressing
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies, including ACI Data Center and SD-WAN platforms
- Proficient in DMZ, B2B, and internet gateway configuration and operations
- Solid understanding of network segmentation, redundancy, and HA principles
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills, especially under high-pressure situations
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Preferred certifications:
- - Cisco CCNP or CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center track)
- - SD-WAN certifications (Cisco, Viptela)
- - ACI or Nexus-related training
- May require occasional data center and branch office visits
- Must be available for critical issue resolution and planned changes during off-hours
- Regular interaction with cross-functional technical teams

Requirements
- Valid CCIE Service Provider Routing certification - Strong expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, and MPLS technologies. - Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale Service Provider networks. - Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex network environments. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural team setting. - Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Willingness to work onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with possible travel to client locations.
