Position Overview:

The Risk Analyst will support the organization in executing the enterprise risk management framework. The role focuses on contributing with ERM & CRO in building a risk-aware culture, tracking and reporting key risk indicators (KRIs) at the Group level, and assisting in the first line of defense in complying with the risk management requirements. The analyst will also support the Group compliance program, developing policies, monitoring regulatory changes, and conducting training to raise awareness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation of the Risk Management framework.
  • Contribute to building a risk-aware culture across the organization.
  • Compile and report on Group level key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Track and monitor the progress of risk mitigation plans to manage risk exposure.
  • Guide the first line of defense in executing risk management processes and activities.
  • Collaborate with risk owners to ensure effective identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.
  • 5%-10% Travelling, if needed, outside Riyadh in KSA.
Qualifications:
  • Saudi nationality is a mandatory (Replacement Hiring).
  • Around one year experience in Risk Management / Internal Audit is required.
  • Bachelors degree in MIS (Management Information System) / Risk Management / Project Management, Accounting / Finance / Business Administration.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferably based in Riyadh and available to join immediately.
  • Basic understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, COSO).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • At least 10 years of relevant credit experience in energy, banking or financial risk management.
  • Experience with implementation and application of credit risk models

About the role:

The Risk Management Analyst will support the Risk Manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining effective risk management strategies that protect the organization from potential threats and vulnerabilities. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical thinker who can conduct risk assessments, assist in compliance monitoring, and support business continuity planning.

The Risk Management Analyst will work closely with various departments to gather risk-related information, provide insights for decision-making, and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management processes, data analysis, and reporting, contributing to the continuous improvement of the organization's risk management practices.



Key Responsibilities


1. Assist in Risk Management Processes

  • Support the Risk Manager in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and frameworks.


2. Conduct Risk Assessments

  • Perform risk assessments to evaluate potential risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Assist in developing risk mitigation plans and strategies.


3. Compliance Monitoring

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Assist in preparing compliance reports and maintaining documentation for audits.


4. Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Analyze risk data and generate reports to support decision-making processes.

  • Monitor key risk indicators and prepare regular reports for senior management.


5. Support Business Continuity Planning

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).

  • Participate in BCP and DRP testing and updates.


6. Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with various departments to gather risk-related information and ensure alignment on risk management objectives.

  • Communicate risk findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.


7. Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes and practices.

  • Stay updated on emerging risks and industry trends to provide timely insights.



Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • At least 3 years of experience in risk management or a related field.

  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.


Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in risk management tools and software.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


Technical Expertise

  • Familiarity with risk management frameworks such as ISO 31000 or COSO ERM.

  • Understanding of compliance requirements and industry regulations.
