Overview
The Plant Manager will lead end-to-end operations of a high-volume protein manufacturing facility, driving safety, quality, cost efficiency, and productivity while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance across diverse teams. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution and requires close collaboration with R&D, supply chain, and cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable growth, innovation, and full compliance.

- Strengthen core foundations in Safety, Quality, and Compliance culture.
- Develop and scale up the next line of site leaders.
- Assess organizational structure, align resources, and drive corrective action plans (including hiring, firing, and developing talent).
- Build and execute a structured training agenda.
- Develop and run cross-functional workshops.
- Partner with HR to create a capability pipeline: internship programs, fresh graduate intake, university outreach, and mentorship.
- Lead and coach cross-functional operations teams.
- Ensure robust manpower planning, training, and performance management.
- Drive cost-per-ton reduction through waste minimization, labor productivity, and efficiency initiatives.
- Own and manage the plant budget including MOH (fixed and variable costs) and capex.
- Instill and maintain a zero-incident safety culture.
- Deliver production targets consistently (volume, yield, OEE).
- Optimize plant scheduling, shift management, and resource utilization.
- Enforce S&OP discipline across all operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve product quality challenges while maintaining strict QA standards.
- Oversee rework and waste management processes.
- Fully leverage plant assets (“sweat the asset”).
- Define and implement Lean and Continuous Improvement roadmap.
- Lead capacity planning and sustainability initiatives.
- Drive capex management and digitalization agenda.
- Maintain full SFDA compliance and build strong regulatory relationships.
- Develop new product capabilities in line with business needs.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory compliance standards.
- Partner with procurement to mitigate raw material price fluctuations.
- Support initiatives to improve Gross Profit (GP) through innovation and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
- 12-15 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Strong protein industry background with QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) exposure.
- End-to-end knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, and CI (Continuous Improvement) practices.
- A hands-on leader, result-oriented, with the ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.
- High level of organizational agility and ability to work cross-functionally.

Job Summary:
The Plant Manager in Medina, Ohio will be responsible for executing company objectives, accelerating operational achievement of standard for manufacturing and operational capabilities. This position will also champion and lead the Continuous Improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
• Develop world class operational standards of measuring and achieving key performance goals to meet manufacturing requirements achieving customer satisfaction on time and within budget i.e. On Time Delivery, Scrap Reduction, Quality, Safety, Cost Control, Waste Reduction, capacity planning, inventory, production scheduling, and performance measures.
• Drive Standard Work to all manufacturing processes through Kaizen events and involve employees at ALL levels.
Develop and improve manufacturing processes for greater efficiencies, i.e. work instructions, process flow, material usage, and material flow, cross training, visual performance (productivity-throughput, quality, OTD) and goals.
Lead the development and expansion of continuous improvement methodologies in Medina to establish and improve manufacturing processes for greater efficiencies and gain positive results in materials usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, inventory, scrap reduction, production scheduling, safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and performance measures.
• Work with Staff Management within the business unit to develop and execute the strategy/plan and to identify the needs of the company regarding the PCIS process.
• Responsible for the quality improvement and cost reduction of assigned products. Responsible for meeting plant cost reduction goal for four wall and material costs.
• Provide leadership for problem resolution and use formalized problem solving approaches (A3, FMEA) to effectively define problems and drive to solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and facilitate problem-solving methodologies regarding quality-related issues (e.g. six sigma methodologies, and other related problem solving processes).
• Responsible for materials management including purchasing, planning, and inventory control.
Support and ensure ISO 9000 processes and procedures are developed and implemented and coordinates preventative measures to enhance system capability.
• Reviews new product designs for effective and low cost method of manufacturing. Initiatives action and follow-up to incorporate changes prior to pre-production sign off.
• Specifies and/or provides necessary tools, fixtures, equipment and related training as required for plan production and testing. Follows up to ensure efficient ergonomic safe operating conditions and methods.
Responsible for administrating major capital investments and improving cost structure of manufacturing operations and facilities.
• Builds, develops and manages operations leadership team capable of carrying out needed operations strategies and improving employee relations.
• Maintain and nurture effective working relationships/communications with key support functions to improve and ensure effective support and achieve business goals and objectives.
• Responsible for Safety and Environmental policies and adherence.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical/Industrial Engineering. MBA is a plus.

• Extensive experience with problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
• Passion for root cause analysis and methodical problem solving.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills – both oral and written, demonstrated by the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, peers, and production floor community.
• Solid experience in a vertically integrated manufacturing environment involving stamping, extrusion and critical high volume to low volume assembly.
• Technology/Equipment: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Liaise with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders on compliance and operational matters.
Report regularly to senior leadership on plant performance, safety indicators, and compliance status.
Essential Requirements - Plant Manager With HSE Certification
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related).
Professional HSE certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or Saudi-accredited equivalent (mandatory for legal registration).
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industry, with at least 3 years in a plant leadership role .
Strong background in production management, maintenance, and industrial compliance .
Eligible for registration as an accredited HSE Officer in Saudi Arabia.
Demonstrated expertise in Saudi HSE legislation and operational best practices.
Proficiency in Arabic and English , with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams, optimizing operations, and driving safety culture.
